The Apopka Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, Inc. was formed in October 1994.
Members are graduates of the Apopka Citizen Police Academy, a 12-week course sponsored by the Apopka Police Department. The course is available to all residents of the City of Apopka. The Alumni was formed to foster greater knowledge, understanding and cooperation between Apopka citizens and the Apopka Police Department s well as to continue our education in law enforcement.
The Apopka Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, Inc. is a Florida Charitable Corporation, registered with Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. We are also registered with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and are exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c) (3).
