I have used Appalcart two times. Nice drivers. Dispatch is very helpful to schedules rides. Amazing how complicated it is to accommodate so many numerous appointments all day. Staff is very supportive & knowledgeable. Flexible with time requests. An automated message tells when the van will be there to pick you up. What a great asset to the community. Thank you for a much needed service.

Applecart skips bus stops in the morning prone to making people late for work.

The busses are never on time, nearly impossible to bus hop when some are early and others are late unless you want to be stuck in freezing or boiling weather for half an hour.

It would be a lot better if they had more options for people who live outside of the city limits. They only offer one rural route per day, and most of the time they only want to use that for doctors appointments not if you want to go to work or running errands. I had lived in a much smaller county for ten years and the entire time I lived there they offered to the public transportation from anywhere in the county to wherever you needed to go at a reasonable price.

They get you where you need to go in town, and they're pretty responsive on social media if you have any questions.

Always clean. And MOST of the drivers are nice. Some are very stuck up and don't say your welcome or anything when you say thank you!

I am very lucky to be living were there is such a great bus service.!!! Apple Cart covers the whole city of Boone & they have a special route in the morning and evening for anyone who needs a ride. You must call at 6:00am for morning and 2:00pm for everything. Rates are from $1.50 to$ 2.00 Cash.

It’s free, been riding it for 15 years- love it! But the TransLoc app is not as good as the previous app they had

Never on time, never enough room on the bus, and no reliable way to check their schedule. The cost of a parking spot on campus is well worth not having to deal with appalcart.

No form of transportation is 100% reliable especially when it comes to public transportation there are many factors that affect the schedule . depending on how fast people get on and off the bus , traffic stopping and going, Let's not forget the most inconvenient delay for everyone accidents. for the most part the drivers are very nice. I've asked a few drivers what would be the best way for me to catch the next bus I want. Most of them don't mind helping you. Hey and get to know your driver if you're going to be here a while doesn't hurt to have a little courtesy and then you know when there's a delay. Have a happy New Year and may next to rides on Applecart be better.
