False advertising on pricing! I went into this store for Schnapps. the sticker on the bottle said $7.99. When i went to check out the clerk told me it would be $13.87. I pointed to the sticker on the bottle and said, "it says $7.99". The guy told me it was an 'old sticker' and would not honor the price. I told him i didnt want it. Then he asked me to put it back which i did but regret that decision becuase why should i do his work for him, especially when they wasted my time and falsely advertised. I will never buy from this place, ever. What a rip off. Not to mention the price he wanted to charge was way more than market value.
A small sized bottle of Gekkeikan is labeled $12. I bought the 1.5L double size which was unmarked. I was not told the total before handing my card over and after checking out and looking down at the receipt I was shocked to see I had been charged $42. I went back to the counter to ask for a refund considering I could buy the same amount of product in 2 bottles for $24 and was told I could not get a refund. I feel absolutely ripped off and have gone to this shop for years knowing I pay a dollar two extra for a bottle, but I am also supporting a small business. That time is over and I'll be shopping only at total beverage down the road from here on out. Turns out stealing from customers is bad for business.
Do not go here unless you want to be overcharged. I picked up a bottle of wine that was advertised on the shelf as $11.99. It then rang up over $15. When I asked the rude cashier he said it was an old tag. So I suggested they make the effort to update their tags, and that he shouldn’t charge more than what was advertised. He simply shrugged his shoulders, and didn’t care. I will never buy anything from them again.
minors beware!! they will sell to underage kids! you just have to act cool and don’t be suspicious, but if you don’t have a plug definitely hit up this place there’s a good chance they will sell to you
I’m not even sure how to say this, we only have about a month left of the year 2023 and somehow the rude coworkers all think it is 2022? Do you guys go out back and smoke crack every time your store is vacant? Seriously, if you’re 21 but didn’t turn it until this year do not go here, they have no idea how to do their jobs.
terrible place to visit or buy anything from, store workers are crackedor harder out and have no idea what year it is. older indian man wouldn’t accept my ID even though im 21?that doesn’t even make sense seriously get a brain, that doesn’t even make sense, be better it isn’t 2022 buddy what tf are you on? learn how to do your job and check ID’s properly, there is no way a normal person would think it’s 2022
workers will stereotype you. owner or whoever that was behind the counter placed their store gun on the counter as if to be intimidating ? very offensive, never coming here again
This store charges a different price every time I go in. Their prices are very expensive. I’ve shopped there off and on for over 20 years, it’s close to where I live. I won’t be shopping there anymore. The employees are not friendly, the man who waited on me didn’t greet me at all and was on his phone the whole time. I’m guessing different owners again.
This place is absolutely horrible. They charge prices that are higher than as marked and then claim the marked price is “the old price”. Do your self a favor and avoid this place.
I think it just fell under new ownership. Different people. Now you Got to pay attention they will over charge you. Charged me 25 bucks for a item that is normally 20 or so because the price tag says 17.99 ‍ pretty sure tax isn’t 30%
