I think these guys are trying hard. It does not always come across well, many times they are disorganized, they don't know what's going on, they don't pay attention to the customer's specific requests and questions, but it's understandable if we consider the volume of customers on a daily basis. There is one guy, I think his name is Alexander, he does an excellent job! He relates to the customer, and offers the right product. Well done!
I understand due to covid19, there is a limitation on people they can have in store. But when you go just to buy an Apple watch, without the need of browsing, we should be able to buy it on the spot without the need to reserve a time slot to go inside the shop. There is enough space outside to have a temporary cashier and have some kind of curbside pickup. This isn't good customer service. Especially when you come from far and will need to wait a couple of weeks before being able to return. All I was told is that I can buy online and have it delivered home. I am sorry but that's definitely not what I am expecting from Apple customer service.
I have always thought Apple's strength was its product, but I found out that its staff [service]is as good as. Here is a story worth sharing: I had a problem with my iPhone 7 plus. I went to the above mentioned store for help. Since I set foot in the store, every staff I met was courteous. I was then referred to a staff member named Vicki. Vicki [sorry I didn't get her last name] was very friendly and most importantly incredibly tech savvy. After I explained to her the problem I had with the phone, it took her less than 3 minutes to figure out the problem and fix it. What makes the story so incredible was that....two days earlier, I had visited the apple store at Pacific center. Two staff members examined the phone and couldn't figure out the problem. And I was told to make an appointment for further examination of the phone.
Honestly the best Apple Store I have been to. Everyone is so helpful, and there's always lots of staff. I have always received great service. I'm not super tech inclined, and I'm never made to feel uncomfortable for not knowing or understanding some of the tech stuff, which I really appreciate it! I dealt with three people specifically: Travis, Oliver, and Kyle. All of them were great and a pleasure to deal with.
The Apple store staff are friendly and welcoming. I booked an appointment to have my cell phone glass repaired. I showed up and within ten minutes was greeted by Hannah who informed me that she would be taking care of my needs. She explained what my options were and was able to get everything handled faster than expected. She's extremely experienced and knowledgeable. She previously worked in the UK for four years and was recently transferred to this location in Vancouver. Apple is lucky to have her. If I have any problems in the future, I will definitely request her if possible. I hope not to have to return with a problem ... but will definitely return to this location for a purchase!
I am really surprised about the amount of bad reviews on here. I will be one of the first to knock Apple's products, especially their horrible battery life or the fact that the new iPhones camera is horrible. But the service at this location has always been great; the employees are helpful, smily and attentive. If there is one compliant about this location is that it takes forever to take an appointment. Sometimes it takes months or weeks to get an appointment. Why don't they hire more staff? During the COVID crisis, I can say they that they had a lot of security on. I went there yesterday, the store wasn't busy.
I went in a coupe of days ago for an appointment at the Genius Bar. For some reason I couldn't open my Pages documents. The rep who helped me was awesome think her name was Elisa. She took the time to understand the technical issue I was having and was thorough with the diagnosis. She believed it was a disk space issue and was very helpful with providing tips and suggestions. I had a really positive experience and appreciated that I didn't feel rushed out. Overall, REALLY impressed with the service at this store. I tried resolving the issue when I got home based on her feedback but it still didn't work. But when I called Apple Support, they were just as awesome and helped me resolve the issue!
Went in today to fix my iPhone max as there is a gap between screen glass and metal frame. Dropped in and waited for about 2 hrs to talk to an iPad guy. I got an exchange. The new one had same problem. Talked to the manager named Sandy?, Middle East looking guy around 30 directly and he said could not exchange again. I told him I understand and asked for other solutions he told me to return the phone. According to him no second exchange because: First, no other customers complaint about the same problem so that means the problem does not exist?; Second, his technician could not identify the gap I am talking about even with a magnifying glass the gap can be seen with human eye and his words just made me cringe Third, if the first exchange did not solve the problem then it must be the something wrong with my perception. I told him to look at the gap on the new one he said “I would not look at it” made me feel like I was talking to a kid. He also said the first exchange he did was out of his “good will” doing me a favor for taking his responsibility? I said why i am taking the responsibility for the problems of YOUR product? He said you can return it. This is not an option for me as I don’t have an alternative phone. Had no choice, did not want to tangle with the mess and walked out. The attitude was just astonishingly rude and careless. Did not even apologize throughout. Not to mention his unconvincing logic. I hope he knows his salary comes from customers’ purchases and apple could hire someone who has a brain and can talk straight. BOTTOM LINE: Don’t visit and don’t buy. Save money avoid bad mood.
Don’t take your I-phone to Apple if you want an honest assessment . My 2.5 year old I-phone 6 died and refused to take a charge - nothing I did, just happened out of the blue. I took it to Apple Oakridge and their “genius” supposedly ran a diagnostic and then told me it was simply broken he couldn’t explain how it was damaged just that it would not accept a charge and there was nothing they could do. I would have to purchase a new phone and all my data not backed up to the cloud would be lost. I asked if they couldn’t just try a new battery as I had some precious photos I really wanted off the phone. He said no. So what could I do - I bought a new phone. Then took my old irretrievably “broken” phone to a techie and he replaced the battery for $70 with a 1 year guarantee- and the phone is fine!!!! I feel that Apple took advantage of me - is this really how you treat loyal customers! You lie to them so they buy a new product? Poor service!!! Poor business model...fool me once...
Fast and friendly service on weekday mornings. I was able to grab a pair of earbuds within 5 minutes.
