Applebee's Grill + Bar

I went there for a birthday dinner which was on Father's day I was glad that we didn't have to wait for an table, we ordered some barbecue boneless wings for our appetizers and they were dropped on the floor by the waitress so we had to wait again for more to be brought out then them were cold so they had to be sent back, I asked for a piece of cake so I could have it later and the waitress replied that I couldn't get none without the ice cream and said I don't want ice cream, I just wanted the cake and she said..we don't have have ice cream so I couldn't get the cake so nevertheless the food was good but the service was

Walked in the door and it was very busy, and asked if I could go sit at the bar. Was told I could. The bartender Blair, instantly greeted me with a menu and asked if I wanted something to drink. She was very friendly and on top of things the whole time I was there. Always asked if I wanted another drink, and even though my food took a very long time to come out, she would let me know what the status of it was and made sure I was cool in the mean time. I could tell they were very busy,, but the bar was a good move. I recognize going to the bar to see Blair, she will give good service!

Our server was absolutely the best! He may suggestions on what to eat. Our food came out hot and in record time. He made sure that our drinks stayed full. The waitress didn't have enough help. Everything that I ordered was not there. We had to eat with plastic take out utensils. I had to ask for some utilization an order to eat my steak meal Our waitress look like she haven't washed her clothes and days. Need better management and need more help.Food: 5/5

Their so-called double burger was small. Did not bother including any condiments. The wait was ridiculously long. Will never go back.Dietary restrictions accommodatedNot sure

We wanted to dine in. There was no hostess in sight and no one acknowledged us for like 5-10 mins. So, we go the bar area and sat at a high top table for another 5 mins with no acknowledgement. Waitresses walked back and forth a few times before we had to stop one and ask if the section was open. She went over to the bartender and asked if she was working the tables. Her reply was, “not at the moment”, but when she looked up and saw us she said, “i mean…I wasn’t”. She never acknowledged us to say hello or to even suggest we move to different part of the bar to get service. Mind you, the place wasn’t packed by any means. We left. Do better.

Pretty bad compared to other locations I’ve been to. - very slow service - waters were not brought until 10 min AFTER the appetizer came - my steak took forever and was cooked medium RARE instead of WELL - my brother was given the wrong side for his meal, instead of French fries he got green beans - there were no silverware but instead plastic cutlery. - loud drunkies in the background not letting my family eat in peace; nothing was done about them and their chaos.

usually provides pretty good appetizers drinks and entrees. Noteworthy choices: Cajun salmon, boneless wings , grilled chicken, chicken quesadillas, mozzarella sticks Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders is also good. The drinks are tasty too and they have happy hour prices too.

Went to this Applebee's near University Square & it was nice. The location is in a great spot. You can definitely see it from the road. The food was nice and hot. I got a sampler platter with boneless wings, mozzarella sticks, spinach dip, etc. on it & my friend got a chicken breast with shrimp & potatoes. The prices were fair too. It was only $38. Both drinks were not up to par though, both were watery. My friend ended up asking for a totally different one altogether. Overall, we will return.

Applebee's no longer Carry's tonic water, so I was unable to order a gin and tonic, and they also no longer have tall glasses for cocktails. They only have short glasses. I ordered the 12.oz ribeye steak and I had to return it because the steak was cooked with so much salt that I could not eat it. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as appetizer and it was brought out with our meals. The dip was in a paper container half full and none of the tortillas chips were whole piece, they were all small broken pieces. Oh yes and the best part of the experience was when we were finally seated, we were handed wrapped plastic eating utensils and when I got my steak I asked the server if I could at least get a steak knife. The manager was so unprofessional... She wasn't wearing anything t⁰hat had a Applebee's logo on , so when I looked at her I was confused because she was wearing a sweat suit and tennis shoes. It was by far the worst and absolute last time I will ever go to Applebee's again!
