After reading other post. After meal we were informed that their credit card machine wad down. The app wouldn't work to process payment. My husband had to leave to run to a ATM. My 1 star reviews comes for these reasons 1. After we had cash we had to wait over half a hour to pay. I had to go up to the bar to pay. 2nd I did tell the manager a young man that you need to post a sign. He stated they were not allowed too. Only when walking out they made a sign that the flipped over from the door notice for the bake sale they were hosting for children's cancer. No apologies super tacky. Clearly your machine been down for a few days clearly fix it. Don't be rude to patrons because your stuff not working. Fix your app as well. Because that wasn't working either. That's why we had to run to the ATM.
Experience was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress Gracie was amazing. She was always making sure we were alright or that everything was tasting good. Everytime we have Gracie as our waitress it's great. Always a smile on her face and willing to talk and joke around with us. I definitely recommend going here.Food: 5/5
Their credit card machine was down while we were there, and I won't hold that against them. In fact to staff we dealt with while we were there was amazing. The issue was that to use a card to pay you had to use the Applebee's website. And that is where our night took a nose dive. It took 8 attempts and 3 different cards before the site could process the payment without timing out.
I’m no stranger to the knowledge that chain restaurants in general are going downhill. Staff are overworked, prices are high, and people can be rude. When I say that I’ve never had a better experience at ANY restaurant, let alone an Applebee’s, I mean it wholeheartedly. I went to the Marshfield location today with my elderly grandmother. Every employee was incredibly kind, the place was clean, and the food was delicious. Two individuals really made our meal excellent; Alyssa, our friendly and hilarious server, and Kyle, the general manager who literally drove to the grocery store to grab special ingredients for my grandma’s meal because she has dietary restrictions. It blew my mind how much effort they put into making sure we had an amazing experience. My grandma doesn’t get out often and she was delighted with the wonderful service and thoughtfulness. Highly highly recommend eating here if you’re out and about in Marshfield!
Wonderful first time experience with the son. Thought it was closed cause of empty parking lot. Food was great. Server went above and beyond to get me the Dragon fruit drink altho the Owner might want to think about updating the decor and getting new carpets and bench seat cushions. Can definitely tell they're warn in. Tables might need waxing as they're starting to get tacky. Otherwise I was happy with everything
Had a great experience this last time I was there. Our server, Preston was very attentive, gave great drink recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Our food arrived quickly and as ordered! We'll definitely be coming back!Food: 4/5
Waited 10 minutes at our table for service. They were clearly short-handed. The server we got was super great, and was definitely doing the best she could with the circumstances. Food tasted like fast food, including the temperature inconsistencies. One person's add on boneless wings were cold, other side of wings was hot, etc. All in all unimpressed. Fast food is cheaper, easier, and even faster. Let alone many of those fast food restaurants also have a dining area - Give us something to justify the cost, Applebee's!
Kevin was my waiter and man was he just the best! He had such a great, positive attitude and he was so attentive to my family and I as we were enjoying our food. I just have to say when you go to Applebee's..Ask for Kevin. He's amazing.Food: 5/5
We stopped for dinner this evening, first time being here. Service was slow despite not being busy. Had fish, 2 pieces were cooked and one piece was undercooked. Fries on my plate some were stale, guessing stale ones were left before fresh were tossed onto them. He had steak which was also under cooked. Very subpar, should really consider taking more pride in the food you put out.
Our waitress Lori S , is an exceptional waitress, she went above and beyond to make our visit great. She is Very friendly and attentive to her guests, I am looking forward to my next visit.
