Walked in and felt comfortable as to how clean and organized this facility was. Was treated with professionalism and treated with absolute care by one of the medical assistants, Carmen, who was very knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful with my questions and concerns.
This facility was very clean and the intake process was very easy. The staff at the clinic was phenomenal from the front desk to the MA'S and doctor on duty, Initial wait times were at least 15-30 min since it's a walk in clinic but once you're in everything went very smoothly. Carmen was very knowledgeable with all of my questions I had asked her, She made sure I was comfortable before doing any tests. The doctor had great bedside manners , explained everything thoroughly and was pleasant. I would absolutely go back again if needed.
Tha worst urgent care EVER. The doctor is always trying to solicit new customers to his private practice. They never have the medicine that you need and did not call in my prescription and they don't answer the phone.
So this is like my fourth visit to this urgent care and from my last review which I will repost so you can get an idea of my last visit when I'm done here. I swore I would never go back, but I didn't have a choice in the matter today. So when I initially arrived I guess there was a change in shifts because one lady was leaving and wouldn't take care of me she told me to wait oh the other woman to check me in. Ok fine a the while there was the manager sitting in the back on her phone speaker speaking very loudly in her native language. The other young lady proceeded to give me paper work to fill out as an existing patient. It really didn't takt too long to get into the room where the same young lady proceeded to take my verbal complaint and vitals, however when I started to ask her questions about the numbers BP, P, SP02 she didn't quite understand what I was asking so I asked her how come she did not understand medical terminology and she told me that she was NOT a nurse nor a medical assistant that she was a medical office administrative assistant. So my question why is she taking my vitals and asking me personal questions about my ailments if she is not qualified. Then after that I also heard the doctor i the hallway passing telling her to do a finger stick on patient and she out right said she didn't know how... What is going on Applemed?? are your people qualified to work there? You guys are supposed to be an accredited facility.. I think I will have do further investigation with the accreditation board to find out if these people are qualified to care for human beings.. The doctor, however was amazing and where is that blonde lady?? Funny thing is I found out from the young lady also that the lady that was in back office was the office manager by the name Mia and she expressed that she always does that talk on the speaker phone in her native language very loudly and all day! Back to AFC for me... 2 thumbs down Applemed.
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with an urgent care. 5hrs of waiting outside for a covid test. No communication, no process just people standing around not working. This place should be reported. Avoid at all costs
Horrible staff from the front desk to the doctors nobody will listen to anything you say waited 2 hours just to be dismissed in a few minutes. Never take any of your family members here they are absolutely horrible. Don’t even waste your time. I had a horrible experience. The big white lady with blonde hair who works at the front desk is very rude, slow and lazy she needs to be fired asap. As someone who’s worked in the industry the level of service at this clinic is concerning.
I went to this location to be evaluated for UTI. The Nurse seem to be preoccupied. I was placed in a waiting room for 30+ minutes, and I could hear the Nurse and MD talking and laughing in his office. I called the front desk on my cell to remind them that I was still waiting. Come to find out the doctor didn't even know I was there.
The staff was professional. I received the care I needed, relatively quickly. The nurse Carmen took the time to answer all of my questions , she even gave me discharge papers to review just in case I had forgotten the instructions that were given.
Fantastic customer service, front desk, especially healthcare staff particularly helpful and knowledgeable. I came in very concerned as my son had an emergency. Not only did they offer us the best possible care, but also calmed me down and guided us as to what the protocol for care would be and a probable recovery timeframe. Thank you, I am forever grateful!
This urgent care is one of the best urgent cares in mount Vernon. The office is very clean and the staff is professional 10/10!!!
