Came here after working in Marblehead for the afternoon in need of a delicious meal before my hour and a half ride home. I ordered the chicken caprese and was thrilled with the portion size and fresh ingredients. This meal was exactly what I needed! The staff was also incredibly friendly and kind. If I’m in the area again I will absolutely stop back in. Thank you!
This place felt like a real life Cheers! It’s clearly a hot spot for locals, and everyone was so welcoming to our eclectic group of seven. We were visiting from around the country for a horror convention and metal concert, and some of the guests and our server wanted to know where we were from and why we were visiting. They were all so kind, and even gave us advice for where to park for the concert. Aside from that, the food was great too! My husband got the fried cod, and it was so fresh and delicious. I usually hate seafood, so that’s a big deal for me. Everything we ordered was amazing, and the portions were great for the price.
I am a regular here, they treat you like family. And it's as if everyone that visits here is remembered by the staff. Breakfast is top notch, Mofongo is amazing. The pancakes and muffins are a great sweet option. Steak tips are to die for. A gem in Lynn, that's for sure. Love the service here and the consistency in the food.Food: 5/5
Great, little hole in the wall!! They were able to handle 12 of us 5 of which were starving, 16 & 17 year old baseball players, walk in with ease. Food was delicious, there is something for everyone; salads, fried foods, authentic Latino food, steak specials and a full bar. Service was on point. Friendly, courteous, efficient, polite, and genuinely kind. Would go back in a heartbeat. Wish we lived closer.
We moved into Salem last fall, and April's II happens to be just down the street from us! We have been a few times and enjoyed a nice mix of their breakfast and lunch options. This last Friday, we popped in for an impromptu lunch date and sat at the bar. I love the huge picture of April and the story. So much love there! The place is good sized and very well maintained and clean! Service is swift yet kind! Even the chef came out to chat for a minute while we were enjoying our meal. I opted for the April Salad with grilled shrimp. This is their take on a Greek salad with a very nice light dressing. Look at the flower, too; so pretty. While the salad was delicious, the grilled shrimp made me drool. I ate every bit of them. Hubs had the Rueben and was very satisfied with the taste, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. Iced Tea was so refreshing! Prices were extremely reasonable as well. This is a go-to spot for sure!
My husband and I try out new resturants and today we went to April's Resturant for lunch. There's no parking but you can part on the street. It's not very attractive in front or inside but we wanted to try it out. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a bar. Good selection of food and drinks. We ordered chicken wings for appetizer and beer and Spike Coffee Bean. For meal we got the Seafood Mofungo and we like it. Good flavor and big portion. Not bad.
Brian is charming and made our visit a lovely and memorable experience. He engaged us in conversation, and introduced us to Roger, the owner, who was also very friendly and welcoming. Brian made food and travel recommendations and went out of his way to find a charger to lend us for our phone so it would be charged and ready to go for the concert after our meal. Went yesterday just 40 minutes before closing and had a wonderful service. We came from Montréal and the man who served us was very kind and helpfull while saying where we should go to visit the Boston area. The food was great, big portions and delicious. Fast service. A real good neighborhood restaurant.Food: 5/5
Loved it. Smaller place, bar and tables, makes you feel like u found a secret gem. We both got the Steak Benedict and it was ridiculously good, cooked perfect. I could only eat half, highly recommend. Oh plus u can get adult drinks with breakfast. Yup, ur welcome.
