We must've gone at the wrong time because there are great reviews and we might have gone on an off night. - Hendrick's Martini: Absolutely perfect. Smooth and great way to start the meal. - Octopus App: Was tough, burned on most sides which dominated the flavor. Wish they kept it more simple to let the natural flavor come through. - Paella Special: Again, maybe an off night. The sausage within actually tasted like is was previously frozen and maybe near its end date. Flavor was just "meh" and no crisp to any of the rice like a traditional paella. - Branzino: Wife loved it. I had a taste and it was actually really good. Service We had a late reservation not realizing they were near closing time. Felt like the server was more about ending his night than making sure we were okay. He was polite though when we did see him come by. Could've been better Not sure I'd recommend this place to anyone. I want to try just one more time and give em another chance considering everyone else's review but based on our recent evening might suggest others skip.
My family held my shower here in October 2022. It was absolutely beautiful! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the delicious food and impeccable customer service. All aspects were executed perfectly and all involved were extremely attentive to our needs and requests. AquaTerra exceeded my expectations and gave me my dream shower!
We were there for a small celebration. Service was perfect, food was delicious and whole place looked warm and inviting. Restaurant has Christmas decorations around with light - amazing. Planty if spaced to have a private and semi - private celebration. Would definitely like to come back again. Take for two sounds great.Food: 5/5
I recently had my sons Baptism at AquaTerra Grille in Pearl River and it was so great! It was an absolute pleasure working with Nicholas at AquaTerra Grille. He was always quick to answer my emails and address any questions I had. The room, food, and service were all great and the party was perfect!! Highly recommend them if you are looking for a place to host a party!
Made a last minute reservation for 10 people close to closing time they were more then happy to accommodate us. The service was amazing, and our waiter James gave us great recommendations and helped us figure out what we could have with some people having certain food allergies .. the grilled octopus came out tender and perfectly seasoned. Every entree was fresh and cooked to perfection including my roasted half chicken from the specials .. the bartender made amazing cocktails with such a variety on the menu to choose from .. will be back
I had a wonderful time here. Excellent food. Attentive service. Clean restrooms. I sat outside, and the music and lighting set an upbeat ambiance conductive to conversation. The menu had a variety of tempting options, and everything I tried satisfied. The Roast Chicken portion was very generous. The ribeye steak was juicy, and the mushroom sauce matched it well. And their mashed potatoes were mouthwatering. Their coffee was good, however I thought their espresso was better. Lemon Orzo soup was a little salty, but it disappeared quickly. Their house bread was warm and soft. I'd like to go back and try some of their other entrees. Definitely recommended, and better than other options I've tried in the vicinity.
Came here on a recommendation from a local FB page. Aside from the fact that this place is as far from being Mediterranean as I am from being on a moon French onion soup in a Mediterranean restaurant!?, the salmon with vegetables was fresh and delicious maybe a bit too much oil for our taste. Iced tea had tea in it, and the service was fast and very polite.
Just had my daughter’s Bridal Shower there and what a wonderful experience! The food was great, the service excellent, and the room lovely. Nick was so easy to work with and I’d recommend the restaurant to anyone!Food: 5/5
I read reviews a lot before I go and if you’re like me, I see more positive than negative and I get an overall feeling that for the most part, you’re going to have a good experience…I’ve been to many restaurants and have never left a review, but I feel compelled to leave one this time so that anyone who reads this knows what this place is capable of doing to people…right is right and this place is not…..aqua terra grill had the absolute worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant, by far…..Absolutely awful service. Mother’s Day, sat down with family, at 4:45, ordered food. First, ordered apple juice for my son…he complains he doesn’t like it because it didn’t taste good. After sipping the juice myself, it tasted as if it was watered down. We informed the server….he ADMITTED to us that he didn’t have enough apple juice left for full cup, so he filled the rest of the cup with water and gave it to my 4 year old son to drink….Are you kidding me?? REALLY??? We sat down at 4:45 pm…food did not come out until a full 2 hours later while other parties, who came after us ordered, their food, ate before us, and left before we ever got our food. Some of our food that we ordered didn’t even make it to our table….after complaining about the length of time it took to get served and asking for an explanation, they try to explain it away it depends on the food you ordered, etcetera…wait…this place is telling me that I’m waiting TWO HOURS because of what I ordered..for a few house salads, some chicken fingers , burgers, and chicken parmigiana….REALLY?? Then, they try to placate us with deserts, a few drinks…etc….Their service is poor and they simply just do not know how to treat people……absolutely, disgustingly awful that they would do this to anyone…I need to speak to someone about this… don’t go, don’t go, don’t go…you are wrong
