Jason and his guys are awesome. They are knowledgeable and have fantastic coral, fish and equipment options. They’ve serviced my tank at short notice when I was out of town and desperately needed expert eyes on it.
Mike did an amazing job filling our reef aquarium for the first time and plumbing the return. He has also been very helpful with getting the tank up and running. I plan to make all my local purchases from Aquatic Creations. Their livestock, service, and staff are on a whole other level from anything else available in the Charleston area.
Really friendly and knowledgeable staff! Really quite a joy doing business with everyone I have met staffed so far. I’m usually a very critical person but it’s very difficult for me to find anything to complain about. Truly blessed to have this store right here in Charleston! With all the bad stuff in the news and tragedies going on it’s the best time ever to find comfort in the company of your family and friends and a thriving reef tank can not only show others how wonderful the world still is and can be but also teach humbling life skills like problems solving and ever increasing our knowledge of this world to whoever wishes to conquer the underwater realms in the comfort of their homes before deciding to swim with the real sharks off the coast someday like I hope to. Very happy to continue the reefing journey with this guys!
Wonderful staff! The Corals and merchandise are beautifully displayed in a boutique type setting full of large tanks. Customer service is awesome and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Found many unique corals that are reasonably priced and healthy. All available fish are fat and happy. The merchandise goods room is a dream for any reefer, stocked with top of line products.
Unbelievable place, stopped by today and met the nicest staff and one of the cleanest stores I’ve ever been to. The tour was great and Jason completely blew us away with his knowledge and his dedication to the hobby. This is the perfect spot for a clean, genuine and welcoming experience when looking for a reef store or service. Thanks again for the tour!
I inherited a large, unruly pond when I recently purchased a house on Folly Beach~ Jason & his team have totally turned it into the highlight of my yard and I found out I have a TON of beautiful fish that I could never see before! The entire job was well done with an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable crew. They made a very challenging job look easy~ I would highly recommend Aquatic Creations to anyone!
Assembled my 240G tank from Red Sea Reefer - very impressed with the level of care they put into my project, all of the crew treated it as if it was going in their own homes. It's very hard to find any contractors that care anywhere close to as much as they do, their passion shows. Highly recommend! Excellent quality work and great service. Thanks!
Loved everything but the freshwater plants. I went here specifically for freshwater plants and bought a bunch. They all had root rot from the metal clips they use. I spent a good $50 for maybe 15 to 20 plants of which only 2 or 3 survived.
Let me say that I was referred to them to help me move from a 55g to a 225g fish tank. Communication was excellent at that point in time. They came set up everything and it ran perfect.
These guys are absolutely amazing great customer service customer a lot of knowledge about saltwater aquariums and Coral. Definitely looking forward to continue my business with them
