The Arab Public Library is staffed and equipped to offer general reading and reference service to the people of Arab and surrounding communities.
Among the services given, priority are reader guidance, reference/interlibrary loan service, story time, free public internet access, basic computer instruction, Summer Reading Program for children and a Winter Reading Program for adults.
The Arab Public Library is staffed and equipped to select and maintain a core collection of standard essential works, as well as a balanced breadth of subject coverage. A variety of public relations methods are used in reaching out to district residents to make the library's resources known.
To serve the community as a general center of reliable information. To provide opportunity and encouragement for people of all ages to educate themselves continually. To identify community needs and offer programs and services to meet such needs. And to provide opportunity for recreation through the use of literature and other art forms.
