Idk I used to go here as a kid, not that old it’s expensive now. All of this plus 2 more churros for $20. I remember when things were under $1 there, I could get so much back then, guess it’s time to shop around.. Plus one of my churro was stale..
Came in here for the first time today. I bought 3 different breads and they all disappointed me. Pan Dulce was dry, and didn’t taste well. I got here 40 minutes after they opened too, so I expected it to be fresh. Will probably not try this place again.Food: 2/5
I'm a bit late with this review and I just want to say that I absolutely love the original Aracely's bakery in Melrose Park I still go to that bakery because I know everything is made fresh. However, the bakery in Villa Park has been so far the worse one I've been to yet. This is completely unacceptable I bough this bread July 4th the next morning July 5th I grabbed the bread to eat it. I hesitated to eat it because it was pretty hard and decided to just break it in half and this is what I found inside of it. I was appalled. It was my first and last time going there, it is unfortunate since I love the bread at Aracely's bakery. Beware of this before going in.
The bread selection is really poor. Literally just one shelf, some of the bread I got was actually very tasty and tasted fresh. We used to get tamales from their Cicero location and was very excited when I found this place in Villa Park, huge let down and even more of a let down because of the high price for them only for them to go into the waste bin mostly untouched. The tamales are easily in the bottom 2 worst tamales I've ever had. They should normalize their recipe and use the same recipe in all their locations. What's the point of sharing a name if it’s a gamble every time you buy from them? Call each place something different or offer the same taste! Going forward, if I find an Aracely’s bakery in the area, unless it’s the one in Cicero I’m not going in, that is what variable quality does, it damages the brand.
Had the tamales for the first time and they were great !
Loved it. Delicious. Wonderful staff.
Great tamales and very friendly staff. The tamales are the best! They are VERY WELL filled and tasty. The Chicken Verde tamales have the perfect spice! So good!!!!
Late review, I’m a city gal and use to getting a nice Tamale at any corner but out here I’m glad to have found this bakery by Safariland. Love the fresh breads n treats, the tamales are delicious & the hot sauce it perfect.
The tamales at the villa park location are not good. Does not compare to Melrose Park. Do not waste your money on the tamales. Bread is pretty good and fresh. Will definitely be back for bread but not the tamales.
I've been coming here for years and they have never let me down. I love their new England style coffee which in my opinion is the best coffee you can buy for miles. And as it's their name's sake it's also a bakery and one of the best I've been to, I especially enjoy their conchas which are always baked to perfection. Not only that but they also offer other items on their menu such as tortas which are really good and they offer Mexican fruit juices and a bit of indoor and outdoor seating as well. I could not suggest Aracely's Bakery enough!
