Arapahoe Ski Lodge

This place was such an old throwback. It's amazing. The rooms are basic, but very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. This place is amazingly affordable. Breakfast is included and was top notch. The bar/lounge area is comfortable and the drinks are very affordable. The staff is so nice and the people staying there were very nice to hang out with and talk to. I stumbled on the place in a last minute booking and I am so happy I found it. They run a shuttle to the mountain and are walkable to all the bars and restaurants on the main strip in Winter Park. Highly recommend!!

Staying at the Arapahoe ski lodge was like being welcomed into the owners family. Everyone was so kind and helpful, explaining local attractions, giving advice on the community, and of course sharing their favorite runs on the mountain! The lodge has a great rustic environment, the decor was excellent with plenty of funny ski humor. “No skis in the bathroom” sign cracked me up every time! Breakfast was tasty, and they had a different fresh pastry every day; blueberry bread, raisin walnut cake, and cinnamon rolls were the variety during my stay. Looking forward to staying again during my next visit to winter park!

I'll never stay anywhere else in Winter Park. The hospitality is unmatched and the lodge is gorgeous. The rooms themselves are pretty standard but it's the rest of the lodge that makes staying here a great experience. I didn't even ski this weekend and I had a great time sitting by the fire and hanging out. I plan to come back many, many times. What you get: a few lounge rooms with comfy sofas and chairs, a bar, giant back room with ping pong and pool, tchotchkes absolutely everywhere, small library, afternoon snacks, fireplace, hot tub + pool, and a classic breakfast eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, etc made to order in the kitchen

Highly recommend, an absolute gem! Charming lodge with incredible antiques and cozy decor, clean rooms, great service, and incredible value. FAR more to do and more personable than a chain hotel or standard condo. We especially loved the swimming pool, hot tub, ping pong, and pool table. Sit-down breakfast in the formal dining room was a real treat. CoViD-precautions were spot on, we felt totally safe. Thank you for a wonderful mini-vacation, we will be back again and will tell all of our friends!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS HIDDEN GEM!! The whole experience was just amazing, the family that owns it, the 10 star breakfast SO GOOD, the pool, hot tub and sauna. I will be back a million times over. Oh and the decor makes you feel like you are home. Thank you for the most amazing experience!!!

Charming place. Reminds me of a nicer European hostel until you get into the rooms, which are full fledged hotel quality. No AC, but at this elevation you don't really need it, and rooms come with a fan. Huge for me as I sleep better with white noise and moving air. Full service breakfast bar, they actually cook you breakfast to order. Staff is friendly and engaging. Overall an outstanding hospitality experience.

This place is what a ski lodge should be...full service, lots of inhouse activities, pool, spa, game room, lounge and bar. Also, a cozy dining area for a wonderful hot breakfast served by the staff. Why would you want to stay in a chain box hotel? Oh yes, the staff is a varied group of more mature males...no flippant summer hires here.

We had a wonderful time here. The owner and staff we're super friendly and accommodating during tough times for the ski industry. Everything is clean and the breakfast were great. We would stay again for sure. We stayed again this spring and had the same great experience.

Great place to stay. Service with a Capitol S. Friendly, inviting, with all the amenities you could ever want. Spa, pool, pool and ping pong tables. Board games and books. Evening drinks. Special treatment for everyone. Food good and plentiful. Shuttle to ski resort is a special perk. Very reasonably priced. We are foodies, so although food was very good, it wasn't how we usually eat. Rooms very clean and pleasant, but not fancy, which suits us fine.

This has become my favorite place to stay in Winter Park. Gives european feel, has all the amenities you would expect at price you won't believe : It's great place to stay with kids. They will have a blast. The gameroom has some amazing treasure that will remind you of your own childhood. I saw another guest go through a bucket full of cars for more than hour looking through hotwheel cars from 70s and 80s. The owners are great. Breakfast is amazing and so is the Hot tub, Sauna and the pool. The bar is full stocked at very reasonable price. All in all I thought it was one of my best stay in any ski resort.
