This place was INSANE!! It took us about 1.5 hours to get through the park. I wish they had a booth halfway though to buy more food because we got the 6 cups of food and ran out about 3/4th of the way. I would have definitely bought 6 more cups! I also wish there were landmarks stating how far you have gone, or a map so you could tell where in the park you were at so you could ration out the food. But overall it was super fun!!
Had a great time at this place! There are lots of animals to feed. It took around 1.5 hours to complete. I bought 10 cups which was the right amount of food for two of us. Once you reach the lake you are a little over half way. The only thing I would improve on if I were the owner are the roads. If you drive a small car like me just drive really slow. Everything else was great! Please visit this place! The owner puts the money he makes from visitors back into the park.
This was a pretty fun experience! The roads are a bit rough in spots, so if you are in a car instead of a truck, be prepared for that. There are a variety of animals to feed, but don't give out all of your feed too early as there are some pretty cool animals nearing the end! The gift shop need some updating and cleaning but overall u will definitely return.
We really like this place, we got there early so we could see all the animals. We had a great time in there, there were a lot of animals and it was very fun activity to do. This place has the potential you can tell they’re not in their best years but it can be great with a few improvements. Overall it was a nice activity and fun, we got to take a lot of pictures of the animals and feed them.
Animals definintely aren't shy! Be prepared to be overwhelmed with Llamas and donkeys coming up to your vehicle. For two of us and 6 cups of food, it cost just under $50. I will say, I believe it is worth it. The place looks a bit run down, we questioned if it was open, the petting zoo was not, but still pretty cool! One downside is that you do not realize how long it is, so, give out food sparingly, at least until you see a sign that says second pass, but only after you turn into the second pass. We actually went through again and bought 12 more cups of food. The biggest issue was the courtesy of other drivers, if you are feeding the animals or taking pictures, just pull to the side, so there isn't a traffic jam. There are signs everywhere that say that, but, well, people. Also, if you feed the Ostriches, make sure you are gripping the cup firmly, as they will try their best to take it from you! There were a lot of food cups on the rode, and twice as many on our second time around. I didn't see anyone throwing them out, so I have to assume, and hope, it was because the animals were taking the cups. Overall, I would definitely do it again
So I'm starting off by saying they have been hot by summer pretty ugly storms... A lot of damage to the property, the roads are rough and need to be graded, but it's Oklahoma.. Who knows what you'll get today or tomorrow? The staff at the gate was courteous and knowledgeable. The staff inside the gift shop was as well. The animals were animals. Fun to watch, fun to feed. I wish there was more educational information throughout, as signage was minimal. Make sure you buy A LOT of food. We bought 18 cups worth and the hungry critters cleaned us out before we got to the end. There are water buffalo, bison, emu, ostrich, llama and alpaca. Even a giraffe and a rhino! Lots of critters. Your purchases go to helping to continue to feed and care for the animals. It's not a zoo, it's a sanctuary that takes in animals that need homes. Please keep that in mind.
The kids had a nice time feeding the various animals. Note that the ostriches are agressive and will do whatever it takes to get your whole feed cup. Also, the road is very rough with some steep hills. Unfortunately they don't seem to have any of the other things they used to have. There was construction going on and all the bathrooms were out of order.
This place is so run down and dirty. Lots of parts closed, the walk thru area is being worked on. Animals are dirty and don't look taken care of at all. They all could use a good brushing and bath. Worst part is there's one 1 zebra and only saw 1 giraffe , and those types should not be alone. The caged areas are very over grown and not taken care of, wolf and tiger looked so sad. The kids did have lots of fun and feeding the animals was cool, but for the high price the place should be way better taken care of. The bathroom was a disgusting joke. They need to redo the bathrooms and get new, better equipment. If your toilets have to be double flushed, replace them. Also more than half are closed due to "covid " which is a lame excuse. Felt bad for the lemur inside the cage too
Same animals year to year. Roads need be in truck or sun, but it's still a blast nonetheless....outdoors summer in cold ac of truck. Animals are cute. Donkeys are a blast. Worth a trip annually.
Fun experience, purchase lots of food and roll up the windows if you get nervous. Saw a few animals I had not seen before today. Road is a little rough… like a drive through safari
