It was sad to see the restaurant part is closed down. Not only is this our normal little place to stop every time we go through the area it's always one of our favorite to stop grab something cold to drink and a snack and use the restroom. My daughter was a little saddened to see that things had changed. However still have very sweet employees and helpful.
The store itself is over priced as most typical places and barely has any selection of anything. Also no maxi pads. Don't start your scarlet curse unless ya wana drive out of town to stop the flood The redeeming quality is the Cafe The service was good and the waitress went above and beyond to make sure my Little man that is type 1 diabetic had sugar free syrup for his meal and even double checked to make sure his soda was diet. Great Cafe service Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and I noticed they have kiddo booster seats. Unsure about high chair status
Stopped here for breakfast after a weekend of camping with 4 friends. We all got the special country sausage, 2 eggs, half order of biscuits and gravy for $9.75 excellent deal and the food was great. Best sausage i have ever hadFood: 5/5
This is a cool place. I can't count the number of times in my life I've driven by and wanted to stop, but have been unable until this last weekend. I finally stopped to get some fishing gear and an "It's-It" and was given helpful service. Next time the restaurant!Service: 5/5
Wonderful place to stop and eat. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. I will definitely be stopping here any time I pass through Elkton. The chili burger I got was very good.Food: 5/5
We were late to join our party of 6 for breakfast , however, the staff did am excellent job of taking care of us so we could dine with the. Food was great, waitress, Michelle, was a real hoot. Happy, friendly, efficient.
Absolutely delicious. Don't believe the guy complaining about the pancakes. They're light, fluffy, delicious, and huge! Even more difficult egg requests are cooked to perfection. Everything was so tasty and staff was so sweet. Parking: Tons of street parking, spots out front, and across the street from a huge lot.
Stopped in today the 4th of July for lunch. Burgers were fantastic and service was great. They have milkshakes, Umpqua ice creamYUM! Local diner that’s been serving the community food since 1958. Always been a favorite spot since I went to high-school in Elkton. Thank you guys!! Keep it up!! Parking: Parking along street, and in front of store. Can park in the gravel lot across the street if you have a larger truck or trailer that you’re pulling.
Really friendly service - the crew was attentive and got our order perfectly. The burger was great. They’ve got a cool saloon style bar that my son said would be “a great place for cowboys to hangout.” Fishing bait and tackle here plus random snacks and umpqua ice cream. Definitely worth a stop if you’re going thru town.
i've been coming to this store since i was a little girl with my parents it was my favorite place to stop and get ice cream on "long trips" i went there today for a quick drink and to play video lottery and was so disappointed the minute we walked into the bar the bartender was screaming about how terrible the new waitress was , to the extent that it made me even uncomfortable, then as we were leaving the poor waitress was checking customers out front and the bartender was still talking badly about her loud enough that she and ALL the customers could hear she had half the bar laughing and making fun of her as well i felt so bad for the waitress it was definitely way out of line and extremely unprofessional i would much rather have someone new running slower then the unprofessionalism of someone bad mouthing their coworkers that loudly. extremely disappointed as a business owner myself i would highly recommend further training for your bartender, if not let her go the new girl was nothing but professional even with her feelings being hurt she brushed it off and just kept smiling
