Our Mission
To operate a tri-service staffed regional blood donor center activity which collects, processes, tests, and distributes blood and associated blood components to support peacetime patient care needs at Madigan Army Medical Center, U.S. Naval Hospital Bremerton, U.S. Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, and other Department of Defense military medical facilities.
The Armed Services Blood Bank Center (ASBBC) provides blood products in support of local military readiness and contingency operations worldwide. During mobilization, Headquarters U.S. Army Medical Command may direct the ASBBC-Pacific Northwest to expand its blood collection and processing activities in support of military operations.
