Update: closed for reconstruction likely until Late 2025 or early 2026 Pickleball, lights go off at 10 pm. Crowded around 7 pm to 830 pm. Not a lot of people playing before 6 pm. Most frequently people play in the morning from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Pick up pickleball here. No reservations here. Unless there are lessons on the far side court. There are a total of six courts here. Two parking lots located here. First Parking lot is next to the baseball fields. Second parking lot located next to picnic area One volleyball court next to the baseball field and parking lot. Cement flooring. Basketball courts are on the opposite side and there are no lights during the night time. There are two baseball fields total here. One next to the parking lot and the other on the four corner of the park. Playground: Sand and wood chip playground with slide and swings, two separate playgrounds next to each other Restrooms: Sometimes open Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly many trash cans around in the park to throw away dog bags Picnic area: First come first serve One big area for picnic and throughout the park or small benches scattered in the open fields
Definitely an outdated park but my toddler had fun. Lots of tables and the bathrooms are decent. There is soap and water.
Chill park. not crowded most times. nice amount of space unless there's an event. pickle ball court, basketball court, baseball field with multiple sides and bathroom is kept open. Playground seems small and cute. Seems dog-friendly. Saw a cat there once that was super friendly and came up to me and let me pet it. The picnic area is existent but not too big.
Great city park has everything you would need. Playground, basketball, tennis, volleyball, picnic tables in areas alone and in groupings at shelters, great amount of open space dog friendly, kid approved, fly your kite, fly your drone, fly your flag. JK but seriously really clean nice place to hang out. Playground: Older playground but great kids will love it Restrooms: Several restrooms around the park and surprisingly clean for a public park situation. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of people walking dogs and enjoying the park, please don’t be that person who doesn’t pick up the excrement from your pooch, remember to leave the place better than you found it. Picnic area: Tables in shelter area and some are alone for more of a low key gathering
Our experience with reserving the pavillion was easy & quick with the city of Cypress recreational offices and a great price to city residents. The pavillion was nice & clean and there are 22 tables. My event of 60ppl had fun here comfortably.
It's a nice park for pickleball or having a picnic. The playground is meh. I bring my daughter here but I don't like the playground, I prefer the playground at Mackay Park off Walker St. But I do prefer Arnold for going on walks through. If you have a dog it's a good place for fetch, or if you're with a lady friend, it's a nice place to bring a blanket and look at clouds
This park has a great playground and plenty of parking. Best thing about it is they host roller derby which is kid and animal friendly. I suggest everyone go watch a match!
I was there over the weekend because my granddaughter had a baseball game first one since she started and she asked me to go and of course I wasn't gonna miss it for the world, she is 8 years old and not only was it a nice park but also it's the memories that matter she was happy to see me there and I was happy to see her happy that's all that matters to me . The also has there own batting cages so they can practice but what mattered to me was her asking me if I could help her warm up and that right there made my day and I look forward to seeing her play again the more memories we have together the better it makes me feel to know that when she gets older and has kids of her own she will reflect back when I was there for her and that is what kids need these days is for someone to show them what life is all about ,. The park is nice and will be there when you are ready to put your kids in baseball or just take them there to have a good time. Playground: It also has a playground for the little ones to keep them busy and get them tired so when you get home you can put them in the shower and get them ready for school or for the next day but it's a good way to get them all tired so when you get home they will be ready for bed and you can have some time for yourself and get ready to do it all over again, that's what life is about.
Got some good game of PB here. They got the great courts to play at. Plus I saw a community of Polynesian folks put there doing their thing. Shocka
I hate coming here because I get reminded how much I suck at Pickleball....lol. All kidding aside, the people who play here are very nice. Sucks that the courts will be down for a significant amount of time while they reconstruct the park.
