Absolute worse Emergency department we have ever been too. My wife and 3 month old daughter sat there waiting for test RSV test on our daughterresults for 4 hours! When they said it would only take an hour. After 3 hours when my wife went to ask for an update the receptionist told her the results have been there but no one looked at them. Mind you this all happened from 7pm to 1am. The staff there should be ashamed and embarrassed with how that place is operated!
What a joke the ER room is. I have been suffering with severe pains in my head for 3 days with vomiting. I sat in that waiting area for 5 hours and ended up leaving. Others had been there even longer. People go to the ER for a reason and it’s not to sit in pain for hours! Other parts of this Hospital are good but the ER is a joke.
horrible billing office. For simple blood work, they billed huge amount and labeled as outpatient. Ridiculous, need to call and wait hours to correct tiny billing problem. Try your best to avoid this facility!!!!!!! Ridiculous place and health care facility. Hope they close and go bankrupty to relieve the patient! Stay away from this horrible place!
Teting to find a parking spot is horrible you have to park in the street. More then once I have seen employees parking in spaces for patients. Was informed that it was going to stop because that they have their own parking lot. But as of today they still park in spots that are for Patients.
I had a billing question and tried calling all day today. Lines were busy so I left a call back number as I was #4 in the que. As of 3:45 still no call back so I tried again. Says now I am #9 in the que. Very poor customer service. Just wondering why they billed Medicare for services when we are not eligible for them……hum.
Am new to the area, and have had to have lots of appointments here to get established. So far, I am very impressed with this facility. Clean, with a convenient parking lot that is not so big that it is a long walk. Efficient, helpful staff, and plenty of spaced out seating. I especially like the lady who drew my blood. She was so friendly, and had uplifting words of encouragement posted all over. I have not had to wait for more than 20 minutes for any appointment. Even the outside is welcoming, with beautiful flowers and landscaping around the entrance. Most importantly, I appreciate the employee policy that restricts the use of perfumes and fragrances, since most perfumes are dangerous for me. It is a safe place for me, and I am thankful for that.
I love Arnot and I love the health care field; however, how dare they not make an exception or find a way for my 83 year old grandpa and I to sit In the delivery room waiting room with my mom when a delivery isn’t going as expected. Patient has been in labor for 12 hours now having a c section and her support system has been awake for over 30 hours and because of covid that started over 2 years ago scared family cannot support each other. 100 plus people can be in Walmart unmasked but masked vaccinated scared family can’t see each other because of some bull rule. When I asked who is there to support the family that’s been awake for over 30 hours and scared the employee said I don’t know. Re-evaluate your process. Have a room for unexpected scary events for increased support. We are terrified and an employee can only say I don’t know. How awful.
Receptionist was rude. I asked for my mother's room, she is a sick and elderly woman. She told me I couldn't speak to her, and that the ER had no phones. I then just asked if she was okay. She gave me a nasty attitude, and told me she couldnt tell me that. I am shocked/surprised at the reaction, and answer's I got from them I just wanted to check on my mothers status, and wellbeing. And they couldn't be bothered enough to tell me....When I talked to her direct nurse she was helpful however.
The Main Hospital has signs all over as a designated smoke-free zone. It is NOT ENFORCED. The signage is a waste. Breathe while entering the Hospital and/or walking/waiting for the bus/ride share at your own peril.
I was at the ED with another individual as the patient. The staff were very helpful. The hospital was neat, clean, and relatively quiet, considering there was a decent amount of activity. I was grateful for the meal, although the meal did leave a lot to be desired. fastest treatment and discharge I have seen considering the situation.
