Arrow Prep has changed my children. My children were both reserved and shy in their previous academy, but after coming to APA, my children blossomed. When I volunteer, I love hearing my child's and their classmate laugh and sing. My eldest child has grown so much being mentored and mentoring students of lower grade levels. It's a unique environment that pays back in droves with what you invest in. There's so much love, respect, and love-of-learning here. I was hesistant and scared at first at the concept, but I quickly adapted and I can never look back at teaching my children via traditional school. Children are engaged and challenged. The writing program is one of the most excellent programs available.
Arrow Prep has been a Godsend especially during the pandemic. I’m so glad that we were introduced to this alternate schooling opportunity. My kids have grown so much and continue to do so every day. Growing in independence and the environment for growth is led by the amazing and professional teachers and well researched curriculum that is intended to Encourage critical thinking and creativity. The small classroom size is the perfect balance and the homeschool hybrid program is just the right balance of in person learning and at home. It provides great flexibility for different learning styles. We highly recommend this school and wish there were more like it.
We love Arrow Prep! After homeschooling for five years, we were ready to put our kids in school and Arrow is a great fit for our family. We like how we still get to spend plenty of quality time with our kids on homeschool days and our kids love going to school and spending time with other kids in a classroom setting. We really appreciate how the teachers and staff have been so caring and accommodating when it comes to our kids' needs and learning styles while still setting high standards for education.
My firstborn attended Arrow for K/1 and my second child for Kindergarten. The quality of the staff and educators are second to none. If you are nervous about homeschooling, the University Model is a great way to get your feet wet. As a parent co-teacher, the curriculum is professionally designed and provided for homeschool days T/Th, but you have the flexibility to meet the day’s learning objectives with your own creative flair.
Arrow Prep has been a bright spot for our family in the midst of Covid. We couldn't have asked for a better kindergarten experience for our daughter! The teachers and staff have gone above and beyond to create a safe, loving, and positive environment every day for their students. We love this school!
When my eldest was approaching kindergarten, I remember being overwhelmed by the prospect of what to do about schooling. I knew that I wanted three things for him. Firstly, that we, as his parents, would be able to still be his primary influence and have his heart. Two, that he would love learning and not despise it. And three, that he would have other solid voices in his life encouraging him and championing his learning and character growth. I remember wanting the perfect blend between homeschool and traditional school and just not being able to find anything out there that met both of those criteria. Traditional homeschooling seemed overwhelming picking out curriculum, knowing if we were keeping up, structuring days… and I knew that my little extrovert needed more social time and thrived off of structure. Yet, traditional public school seemed like so much time away from our family unit, and I still believed that kids need more time to explore, play and apply their learning in the outdoors. Fast-forward a year a couple months of homeschooling and an overwhelmed mom to public school and then remote learning because of Covid and a friend, who had been researching schools, asked if I had heard of Arrow. I could not be happier with our decision for our children to go to Arrow. Our eldest is thriving and our middle child cannot wait to start kindergarten. We have felt completely safe during Covid. The school has made every effort possible to have kids IN SCHOOL, while keeping staff, families and students safe. I have noticed a change in my sons’ attitude and character, as well. Being supported by loving teachers at school, having structured days and friends do be around, plus having more time to connect at home on Tuesdays and Thursdays has been so good for him! The school is very in tune with the kids’ learning abilities and needs. More challenging work is given, if an assignment is too easy, and if a student is struggling with a concept, they are given support and encouragement to continue. I cannot say enough good things about Arrow!
Our children are thriving at Arrow Prep. The staff are friendly, qualified and love Jesus in a way that is clear through all of their interactions with the children and families. We appreciate how a classical education is enriching our children's educational experience and the University model gives us 2 week days to learn together at home.
We love Arrow :. As a University Model school, it is such a special blend of traditional school and homeschool. My first grader and our whole family get the benefits of both. The faculty and staff are extremely caring and personable. It is a wonderful place to be a part of.
My daughter loves going to APA! We love the small class size and challenging options for our daughter! We are blessed to spend more time with our children during the school week with our unique schedule of APA and homeschool! Don’t be intimidated it’s very well set up and planned out for the parent teacher! The teachers truly care for each kid and their success academically and spiritually!
