Join us for our summer camp program at Energy Studio in Weymouth, MA. Camp will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. during the months of July and August. $120.00/wk - pre-registration required.
Each day begins with a dynamic, interactive storytime. During this time, we bring a selection of classic children’s literature to life with the use of masks, puppetry, props, laser shows and music. Next we take the music skills we have learned and add them to a movement routine that correlates with the theme of our book!
For the visual arts portion of the camp, we wile split into two groups:
Junior Picassos: Ages 5-7 - Instructor: Heidi O’Donnell
•Learn to draw animals and characters through step-by-step drawing lessons!
•Painting and visual Arts projects using real artist mediums and materials!
•Collaborative mural and collaging projects!
•Age-appropriate crafts
Petite Picassos: Ages 3-4. Instructor: Danielle Johnson
•Simple step-by-step drawing lessons
•An imaginative range of projects that include cutting, pasting and folding
•An introduction to painting on a variety of different surfaces
•Age appropriate crafts
In addition to exploring the arts, our days will be jam-packed with adventure activities, including games and hands-on sensory projects!
