Art for Conservation celebrates the power of visual imagery as a catalyst to protect our planet’s cultures, creatures and climates.
A gathering place for all who are committed to using their art to showcase environmental issues and conservation goals. We hosted a website and on line gallery for several years with the goal of supporting conservation photographers and artists.
While the endeavor was moderately successful for a period of time, we eventually came to understand that we have neither the financing nor the staff to compete with "The Big Guys". We like to do things right and if we can't, we figure out something else to do. So, our apologies to those who joined us early on. We still share your vision and welcome you to share your stories, your conservation goals and your art on this page.
It's all about community and the acute need to maintain the progress that has been made in the last decade, to advance the conservation agenda, to create a world that we can be proud to pass on to our kids and grand kids not to mention the defenseless creatures who stand to lose the most by our poor choices.
As we witness a new administration becoming the guardians of our health, happiness and freedom, it becomes even more important to stand up for our core beliefs and our hopes for the future. Speak up. Act out. DO stuff. Use your talents, skills and passions to advance the causes and the issues you believe in. If you don't do it, who will.
In the oft quoted words of The Lorax - "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot - nothing's going to get better. It's not."
