I have been coming here for years now and I am always satisfied when I leave. Every person working here has done my nails/pedicure in the past and I would say the quality is consistent. Michelle always does an amazing job and takes her time on my nails. I have seriously never gotten so many compliments on my nails before! Based on my past experiences in nail salons, I believe the amount I am getting for the price I pay is much higher at Art of Nails. Pedicures include a complimentary back massage and you get to choose the scent for your soak, exfoliation, and lotion which is a really nice touch! Not sure why so many reviews mention price - the service here is cheaper and much better than the previous salon I was going to. The staff is also sooo pleasant which is always a plus!Services: Nail polish changes
It's a good nail salon. I like to get a massage here whenever I don't get an appointment at my fav place which is in Princeton. Charges for nail art are very high. Quality is ok.
Went to get a gel fill for my mom because we were in the area. After filing off her existing gel, and while her nails were all jagged from the filing, the tech and the lady in charge say she needs a new set of gel and the cost is $100!!!! When I questioned it, the one in charge said if I don’t want the service they stated they won’t finish. Since they already started, leaving would have stressed my mom out and left her nails thin and brittle till she went elsewhere. The place we usually go is pricey and they charge $65 for the exact same service! To make the $100 ransom worse, there were NO PRICES POSTED ANYWHERE!!! So her $100 seems arbitrary and made up. Do not go here!!! NOTHING in a nail salon should ever be $100!!! Unless they are crooks like the lady at this place.
Nice clean place, convenient location, easy to schedule. Just don't bother with the reflexology. Woman doing my pedicure had no idea what it was and owner told her "just do massage". Nice calf massage, but that's not what reflexology is.
Horrible job. I didn’t ask to correct because she was damaging my nails and didn’t want any more damage. Didn’t cut my cuticle well, just painted all over it. Looked like the woman had no experience. I could color my nails the same way at home. They hurt now because she used a special tool to take off a layer of my nails. One time experience, never again.
I came in with 2 other people and we all had the same issue….. Less than 24 hours later, the mail polish started chipping. It didn’t even last one day! What a waste of money. Unfortunately, I didn’t read reviews until now and it appears that their other clients have reported the same issue. This means that management is aware of the problem with the polish and they don’t care. Bad businessService: Manicure
My gel tips and gel polish didn’t even last 2 weeks. Staff is constantly rotating. Twice I’ve seen patrons going back and forth about price differences with the manager saying something wasn’t fair and “not right to do that” sort of thing and two times I was also told different prices…like 50 dollar difference. One time I was told $60 just to soak acrylic nails off and I walked out, a regular customer. Good points: they never stop cleaning this place, even pre-COVID. Just a tiny bit more money for elite services but you do get what you pay for. They are never pushy and never try to upsell you on anything.Services: Gel manicures
I'm fairly new to the area and stumbled upon this place. I've been here a few times and always leave disappointed. The last time I went there was to get a nail repaired. I believe it was the owner that was doing it. Very nice, but continued to talk in her language to another nail tech michelle in their language while staring at the gel. I asked if something was wrong and they said no... while stirring the gel and still speaking so only they understood. She made my nail round even though the rest of my nails are straight and the nail was too wide for my finger. It looked horrible and I had to go home and file it immediately. I just needed a quick fix until I could see my regular nail tech a few days later. One of their techs told me that Kim doesn't buy official swarovski crystals but charges customers for them. She said only the white ones were legit and that Kim says the customers can't tell the difference. Not a winner in my opinion.
My mom's first experience here was fine. But when I went to get a mani/pedi there, i felt uncomfortable from the moment i walked in. Even though the pedi station wasn't ready, there separate nail techs yelled at me across the salon to sit down in the chair. I politely refused my back hurt and the nail tech wasn't there yet. I ended up changing my mind about my pedi, and the various techs started talking about me in their language. I realize this is regular practice at nail salons but that's rude, imo. You can see the mani I got. The nail tech was fine, but it's a bit of a rush job and I will do it myself from home the next time. Bye!
