Art Van Furniture

Cheap quality - not recommended. I got this sectional in May 2019 tent sale, just after one month, couch started to peel. I went to the store and called customer service as well; I was told that nothing could be done due to sectional had not warranty because was bought in a tent sale. Don’t buy there, don’t buy tent sale products.

Recently I bought a couch, loveseat and ottoman at Art Van. I was pleasantly surprised to find a concierge at the entrance to the showroom instead of a group of salespeople waiting to assist. The concierge asked me what I was shopping for. She gave me the option of shopping on my own or having a salesperson help me. I pretty much knew what I was looking for so I asked to see a salesperson. The salesman who helped me was friendly and courteous and offered me several options in my search. I picked out the set I wanted and we finished up the transaction quickly and easily. Art Van called me twice to confirm delivery date and time which I really appreciated. Recently I cancelled a furniture order from Bob's Discount Furniture because after waiting for my delivery they called me 30 minutes before the end of my delivery time envelope to say they wouldn't be able to make my delivery. My Art Van delivery was great. They were right on time, friendly and courteous. They set up my furniture , cleaned up and made sure I was happy with my furniture . To sum it up I was 100 percent happy with my furniture purchase from start to finish. Great price, great service and great delivery. Thank you

Nina with interior decorating was great! She’s very helpful and the reason I decided to make my purchase. I felt a bit rushed by my salesman. He didn’t seem to understand that I wanted to wait before purchasing or regard my consideration for time. When I told him I was hungry & my son was waiting, he replied he’s hungry too, just take 5 more minutes. Which of course was much longer. I do think the furniture I choose is nice & good quality. After my appointment with home interior appointment, I plan to go through with purchase. In the future, I will not deal with that particular salesman again.

Thanks for making it right, Art Van. ------ This review is primarily for the customer service that we received, not necessarily for the furniture we purchased. The couch and table that we got from this Art Van were solid pieces - nothing too fancy, but good for our new home. December 2018: When we purchased the two pieces, we indicated on the site that we were going to pick them up. The day that we were supposed to do that, however, we got a call from a sales rep at the store who said that we weren't able to actually come pick up the two pieces of furniture. She wasn't sure how we were able to book it through the site not our problem, but we would have to get them delivered for $100. We had already spent over $1000 on the furniture, and had not budgeted for delivery costs, so I was already pretty mad about that. Joel, another customer service rep, offered to do a $50 delivery but include a $50 Art Van gift card. Weeks later, I called again since we never received the gift card. Joel apparently no longer worked for the company and there were no records of a $50 gift card for our account. I've tried calling back several times since then and gotten nowhere. I can't recommend not using this Art Van strongly enough. The furniture is fine for the price, but the customer service - or lack thereof - is incredibly lacking.

The best experience I have had in recent years. Our salesman was very relaxed and did not pressure us at all. I actually had a conversation about how hesitant I am to come into the store. I really dislike high pressure salespeople. Our salesman, Scott explained that they are trying to take a new approach and not be so in your face. It’s working! Scott was very helpful and accommodating. We also worked with a designer who was very nice as well. I am looking so forward to our new living room furniture.

Very helpful and personable people. We are so glad that we stopped in. A1 service! We saw very nice, but out of or price range, furniture. We were starting to leave when a sales associate found just what we envisioned. It was classy, affordable, and fit in our mini-van. They went the extra mile by securing the edges with plastic wrap.Because our purchase was a floor model, several associates, along with my wife and me, documented the few very minor scratches. This Hall road location will be our first stop and first recommendation to family and friends when looking for a full room or a perfect serving table as we were.

good customer service. stated late after close to finalize a deal. did not budge on price. finally got my couch and quality was what was promised. huge scrape on one of the legs from shipping and delivery. Art van will send out a service tech to address the issue. no questions asked. Had to follow up with multiple times to get an ETA on couches and when I did they finally told me they were in and waiting for delivery. I'm sure they would have eventually called but when a customer is paying $3,500 for furniture we expect great follow up.

I highly recommend Scott Van. He was wonderful to work with. When I first met him initially, he gave me such a great experience explaining the pieces of furniture including a mattress I was interested. I shopped numerous places but Scott made me feel comfortable and that’s why I came back to purchase it from him. He is genuine and takes his time with you. I also like to keep it within a family from Michigan to support the Michigan economy. I highly recommend Scott to work with and the Art Van Furniture. You will not regret it and they have such incredible options.

Sales consultants were very helpful, friendly & professional. Sectional & ottoman were ready much sooner than expected. Delivery on time & delivery team handled everything perfectly. Every aspect of this experience was great. Love my new furniture.
