Ok so let me elaborate on saying expensive. Yes the prices I think are high. Not saying the quality of product doesn't deserve the proper price tag but some of the smaller things in there I was looking at the prices are ridiculous for what they are. The bigger ticket items,like what I went in for bed I know are going to be steep. I get that. I WILL SAY though, the customer service was great! The lady that helped us was very informed and if she didn't know the answer or didn't want to say wrong information would go and get clarity before telling us. That was amazing. I've worked in sales and I know there are a lot of sales people out there that will B.S. their way through a sale and I can not stand them. The Art Van sales lady did a great job getting information to me. And I did a lot of research before I went in. With the price of good quality beds I hope I never have to buy one again. But if I ever did, i would gladly go back to the store. And I would recommend others to go in as well. Plus the whole bed that tells you which firmness you should be on was pretty darn cool. It put us in the same bed we were originally looking at but it was cool to see a read out saying what should work best.
This will be my second review of the same purchase I made. I had purchased a mattress set from this art van and had a wonderful experience with the salesman. From there the shipping was quite awful but not on this art vans end but because of a warehouse issue losing my mattress. Three days after the initial scheduled delivery I did get my mattress set. And I was just issued a refund on my shipping costs Thanks to the wonderful manager at this art van. I am very pleased with how well they handled this situation even though it was a large inconvenience. Thank you to the salesman and manager I worked with!
Our help came from two people who not only gave us information about products but gave us suggestions as well. We needed help in deciding what furnishings would work in our home. We are happy with Phil Harmon and Melissa Griffin for showing us many styles and fabrics, and their patience . We will not take delivery until we return in May. This great service was also offered to us.
We owned a pillow top mattress which was warranted for ten years. It developed a sag towards both sides after 7 years. The technician that came to check it out was very understanding about the problem reporting it to that effect. We were told to go to Art Van and pick out a new one. The sales associate was very helpful in picking out a new mattress. I was very satisfied.
It was fine, our associate was very helpful although at the end when we were really trying to figure out what we wanted and talking about our finances he wouldn't give us any privacy and once I even asked him to leave and he came right back 2 minutes later. We spent nearly 5g and asked the manager to gift us 2 throw blankets and he said no, and it really didn't sit well with me, never had that happen before at any furniture store!
My salesman, Luke was very professional. He spent the time to answer all my questions, moved furniture for me and I felt no pressure to buy. Due to an upcoming wedding, they were so accommodating to us for delivery when it was convenient for us. NICE!!
I was disappointed in my shopping & delivery experience. I bought a new bed & was misled into believing a new $120 mattress pad was required for Art Van to honor the mattress warranty. Then the delivery service was equally poor marking up the walls in several places, dragging snow & leaves throughout the whole house. Two able bodied young men refused to tighten the screws on the bed frame and literally watched an 83-year old woman do it herself. Shame on you Art Van. Thanks for responding, but you will not have the opportunity to re-earn my trust, why would you assume you would?
My husband and I were shopping for a bed, and Selling Manager David Grindle was amazingly helpful during the purchase. Funny and friendly, knowledgable and honest, but not pushy, he made what we normally consider a tedious task fast and easy. Huge thanks to him for the help. The bed a Beautyrest coil/memory foam hybrid is our most comfortable yet, and Art Van's Black Friday sales were excellent! Definitely the best time to make the purchase and we'll be back soon to replace our couch. Thanks, Art Van!
Very easy to deal with - pleasant experience - highly recommend! Chose a mattress over the phone which is an exercise in itself. The sales team was patient and answered MANY questions that I had. Delivery was scheduled and the team called within the stated window and seamlessly delivered the items without a hitch . Would shop here again and again.
Yeah I went to Art van for the labor sale too get mattress, and the free stuff. But for some reason it wasn't applicable to my purchase. And I could've bought it somewhere else cheaper, but the free stuff would have made it a better deal. And the mattress I lay on in the showroom and bought wasn't the same mattress delivered to my home . So I'm not very happy was Art van
