Our furniture is handcrafted primarily from reclaimed or salvaged tropical hardwoods found in villages throughout South East Asia. Most is teak, while other pieces are made from iron, suar, tamarin, merbau, mahogany, or coconut tree wood.
Some of this wood may be up to 300+ years old, and is therefore very stable (ie less warping or cracking). This material is naturally more dense than contemporary plantation wood (which are usually no more than 25 years old when harvested), resulting in furniture that not only boasts a rich color and grain pattern, it is timeless and lasts indefinitely!
