Dr. Indelicato took over Arthritis Associates, Inc in August 2016. Located in Peabody, MA, it's the place to come for the highest quality rheumatologic care in the North Shore.
Dr. Michael Indelicato was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He obtained his undergraduate degree (B.S. in Biology) at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and then attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) in Long Island.
He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. He then headed south to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, where he completed his rheumatology fellowship training.
After fellowship, he headed further south where he worked in private practice at Arthritis Associates of South Florida, one of the premier rheumatology groups in the state of Florida. He had great mentors there and was able to hone his diagnostic skills and get a tremendous amount of exposure to various rheumatologic conditions.
After 3 years in South Florida, Dr. Indelicato returned to the Northeast and is now the owner/primary rheumatologist working at Arthritis Associates, Inc. He took over the practice in August 2016. He's made significant upgrades to the office including updating the waiting room and upgrading the infusion suite (new recliner chairs and flat screen TV) to improve the overall patient experience. He's also taken the practice forward by switching to an electronic medical record (EMR), which is an absolute must in today's ever changing health care landscape. His new EMR is "rheumatology specific" and once fully implemented, will help assure the best and most efficient patient care.
Dr. Indelicato is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is also certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). He is a Fellow of the American College of Physcians and a member of the American College of Rheumatology. He is also a member of United Rheumatology, a nationally recognized organization, which has brought independent rheumatologists across the country together.
He's affiliated with both Beverly Hospital and North Shore Medical Center.
