The Arthritis Society’s official Facebook page is a supportive community where Canadians affected by arthritis can discover information to help them live well with arthritis, share their stories, ask questions, and connect with others affected by the devastating affects arthritis has on lives.
It is our goal to make this community a safe space for respectful and honest dialogue and support. The Arthritis Society regularly monitors questions and comments shared on our Facebook page. We reserve the right to remove content that does not foster a thriving, supportive community for Canadians affected by arthritis. This includes:
• profanity, name-calling or racial or ethnic slurs
• insensitive or inappropriate content
• advertising or spam, including repeated commenting
• misinformation
• promoting illegal or questionable activities
• invasion of someone’s personal privacy or intellectual property
• fundraising for other organizations
• unsubstantiated claims about arthritis research
• Comments which promote false claims about arthritis and/or products/services related to treatment of arthritis
Users who violate or repeatedly abuse this policy may be banned from this page.
