Wonderful, caring, knowledgeable! Dr Morelle and his staff are fantastic and they really went the extra mile for me! I'm blessed to have them as part of my care team!
I was having pain in my left knee and after seeing my orthopedic Dr and receiving several cortisone shots, I was no longer getting relief. At one point my knee was swollen and was told there wouldn't be any benefit in aspirating it as it would only reoccur. He determined through an MRI that it was now bone on bone and the only alternative was a total replacement. I have rheumatoid and have other joint issues so decided to see DR Morell. Upon examination, he suggested draining my knee which he did and administered a shot. He explained that shots sometimes don't work well on fluid filled joints. That was over three years ago and now have hardly any issues with it and can walk long distances without pain. So far he has kept me from having an unnecessary and painful surgery. Thank you Dr Morell and staff.
I'm a hard case and Dr. Morrell isn't overwhelmed by it. That alone is super-helpful.
Been with the doctor since 2002 or so. His staff some of whom have been there since I started going are friendly and receptive to what you tell them. Usually minimal wait in the waiting room or the exam room before seeing the doctor. The doctor is quick and efficient but listens to your questions and concerns and in my experience does his best to address each issue. I would recommend Dr. Morell to anyone suffering from AS as I do.
As a new patient in his facility, I thought he would spend more time taking history of present illness or chief complaint. I drove 2 hours to see Dr. Morell but he spent a total of 2-3 mins with me. I didn't get a chance to explain to him the other associated symptoms I'm having because he asked close-ended questions. He doesn't even let me finish answering his questions. It was as if he already diagnosed me before he even saw me. I know it gets extremely busy in clinic but I hope he listens to his patients.
I just saw Dr. Morell last week. He always make me feel like he's glad to see me in his warm and welcoming way. He assesses my various pain areas and treats accordingly, or give me ideas of exercise to help me live my most comfortable life. He let's me know that I can come back in between my regularly scheduled appointments if need be. He also has the most wonderful staff, they make your feel welcomed and comfortable. They are a well oiled machine. Things work seamlessly and no one has ever dropped the ball with messages to the Dr. or appointments etc. I am so glad to have Team Morell as part of my healthcare team. I am able to live my best, most comfortable life whitle managing Arthritis and Fibro Myalgia and Tendonitis. What a Blessing! Thank you Team Morell!
Extremely good care from several dedicated individuals. Doctor is a compassionate man, whose only interest is to solve his patients problems no matter how long it takes. He is never in a rush when with a patient. He shows real interest in what you are saying or what you are concerned about. Would I recommend Arthritis Specialists to someone? Absolutely and I have. My latest appointment was today.
1st 2 visits were really good,I felt he really cared, this last visit was so bad I wrote him an email from my soul out of respect before I came here to write a review. In return he dismissed me as a patient, and said due to me not In agreement with his treatment plan. He didn't give me a plan at all, no guidance on what who I need to see, or any suggestions for what he thinks I should do, actually he was more concerned on my medications for my mental health, didn't suggest maybe you need a 2nd opinion on your mental heath issue. And the email that came from my soul stated my light is dimming at a rapid speed in return he dismissed me as a patient . These Dr's are driving me insane literally.
New patient. Called multiple times to find out when exactly my appointment was, no answer. Left multiple messages, no call back. Went down there to talk in person. Receptionist is very rude and unhelpful. Don't waste your time. If the Dr is okay with his receptionist treating new patients that way, I am glad to move on to one with a better atmosphere.
I drove almost two hours to see this guy. There was no one in the waiting room which I thought was weird. I was immediately brought to the back room and saw Dr. Morell shortly after. This guy didn't even spend 5 minutes with me despite having positive results on my ANA labs. He told me it was a false positive despite having 4 positives labs. He wore a big gold chain and was very short with me. I even hand walked lab reports to my appointment that my doctors office failed to fax him. He didn't even want to look at them. This guy is clearly in it for the money and doesn't care about helping people.
