10 years ago when I lived in the area, this is where I'd go to get my hair cut and brows done. I recently visited and found myself in need of a haircut. They were able to get me in right away and Sarah and I connected immediately. She understood what I meant and what I wanted even when I had difficulty describing it. She was funny and personable with excellent technical skills.

Being new to Mount Vernon, I went through quite a few different stylists. Having blonde hair with highlights seemed to be an issue-- with most stylists leaving chunky spots, or uneven highlights. I finally found Kasey at Artiques, and she is fantastic! I've been with her for almost two years now. The prices at Artiques are extremely reasonable as well.

I scheduled an appointment for a cut, color, style and told the receptionist twice that I had long, thick hair. Casey showed me a few magazines to help me decide what I wanted which didn't take much time. I have a thin face and needed something different than the long, one length around my face. The coloring took awhile, as expected. Casey's next appointment was waiting during my haircut and I felt rushed to make a decision instead of taking the time to cut small amounts around my face to get to the desired look. She cut my hair so quickly and I didn't notice she layered all of my hair which is definitely not what I wanted. I walked out of Artiques Salon after spending $178.90 with hair coloring on the sides of my face and neck that I did not notice in the salon. My hair wasn't styled at all and I absolutely hate my hair now.

Always have the best experience!! Nice atmosphere and everyone is so kind!! Hair always looks and feels amazing after a visit!

I waited over 3 weeks for an appointment but upon arrival I was notified masks are mandatory. This is their option but my complaint is they should tell you when you make the appointment! It should also be stated it in the reminder text. This wasted my time and also the time of the hairdresser as I cancelled upon arrival.

Hairdressers are great, very comfortable environment. I've been going to Sarah for the past 10 years and she has never failed me.

The staff is always pleasant and professional. They consistently go the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years!

Terrific haircut, a little pricey at $32. The hair stylist was very good.
