ArtStart offers contemporary art exhibitions, live music, film festivals, children's art classes, children's theatre classes, adult social events, parties, and fun. ArtStart also houses local businesses offering, music, dance, and yoga classes.
ArtStart is YOU! A group of volunteers—business people, artists, art lovers, educators, and other community-minded citizens—is working to transform the historic Federal Building at 68 S. Stevens Street into a destination arts and culture center in downtown Rhinelander. Last December, the City of Rhinelander voted to purchase the building from the Federal Government for $1. The non-profit organization, ArtStart, Inc. has entered into lease negotiations with the City and, with your help, plans to create the Rhinelander Area Arts and Cultural Center.
