Absolutely top notch care. I have never been more considered, more consulted or more cared for by any medical professional. Beth is a very caring and knowledgeable provider who really has your best interest at heart. Abby goes above and beyond and is super personable. The whole team is great and committed to your care. I went to Ascend Health for pain management after being dismissed from my pain Dr. because of prescribing issues. I called and spoke with apparently the owner. He was very nice, caring and had a "What can we do to help you" attitude. He made me an appointment right away. I saw the Dr. and like with the owner I felt I was working with my best friends in a combined attempt to relieve my Severe Peripheral Neuropathy Pain. Needless to say, they helped me to relieve my pain. In the beginning there was a problem with my insurance and as with everything else they responded to the problem right away. If you are looking for a clinic that will treat you like you truly matter, Ascend Health Pineville is the place to go. One other thing... I have to say that they restored my quality of life. Truth be told, they saved my life. Really!!

The entire staff at this facility are simply amazing. Beth is an amazing provider and truly cares. Abby is the sweetest and they will go out of their way to make sure my appointments are convenient and my medication is always available and sent to the pharmacy. I started the sublocade shot recently which is a process with specialized pharmacies and they stay on top of it to make sure my shots are delivered and if there is ever any issues they contact me immediately to make sure that I'm informed and that other accommodations can be made.. Thank you guys for the greatest experience in this field that I have EVER received since being on MAT in the last 15 years..

I drive 45 min to come here even though there are much closer options & there are many reasons for that. The staff is incredible, they truly care about your well being. For me I always have issues with my insurance or pharmacy & they are always patient with me & do everything within their power to make sure I’m taken care of. In an industry where a lot of doctors don’t give a flying f**k about you or your problems this place is a breathe of fresh air. Please keep up the good work. This is the only doctor I’ve ever been too where I don’t dread going. Thank you all.

I drive almost an hour to go see these guys.  They are the most caring compassionate people I have ever met in the rehabilitation field. If you need help with substance abuse I can only recommend these guys because there service is  hands down above and beyond anyone else you will find.  My family and myself owe a lot to Lee and the staff at Ascend Health. This is from the heart, don't waste your time. Just call Lee and make an appointment. You will not regret it.

Moved to the area a few months ago , so I needed a new doctor so i found this place and called and [Lee black] and the staff was amazing answer all my questions was very helpful didnt rush thru anything ! Always there no matter what time if you need to talk  or even text whatever it is they are there. Truly amazing how much they care about their patients. Really makes a difference when you have a place like ascend health helping thru your recovery or your occasional appointment.  I most definitely appreciate everything they have help me with and how much they really care I'd give them 10 stars if I could .

This is the best MAT clinic I've ever gone to! The staff there are very professional, caring, and non judgemental. I would recommend this office to anyone. If you have questions, just give them a call, they will answer all of your questions, while still remaining respectful, private,  and non judgemental. I give them 5 stars!

Finding this office has been a godsend for me since moving to NC. They are professional, caring, and will go out of their way to help in any way they can. I would recommend this office to anyone that needs help and is trying to do the right they. This office will guide you along the way!

Left me high and dry with nothing. Cut me off my meds tht I been on for almost 2 yrs and put me on a med I'm allergic too!! They were good in the beginning till this new doctor came in and shes not a doctor tht I would recommend!

For me, 5 stars isn't NEARLY enough to express my appreciation for EVERYONE @ Ascend! Over my 10yrs in pain mgmt my opioid use graduated steadily until it soon surpassed my actual "pain needs." I denied that too, because "my meds are legal." While that WAS true, what was ALSO true was that the ONLY difference in MY use & that of someone with "street use," was merely a signature. No REAL  difference at all. Without exaggeration, I tried EVERY clinic Charlotte! I HAD TO break the cycle that nearly killed me, more than once! But finding HELP proved FAR MORE DIFFICULT than finding drugs! Of the few places that DO take Medicaid, NOT ONE of them treated me as a human being; much less one who had CHOSEN to make a positive step forward!! ASCEND isnt just the 1st place that treated me with kindness & RESPECT; its the ONLY place! And to say that I was surprised is an understatement! I THOUGHT I had to accept being treated like a "filthy junkie" just to get help. I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG HAD I TRIED!!! If you're reading this, you already know EXACTLY what I mean. You've already been disrespected, judged & made to feel unworthy of compassion. So PLEASE....Trust someone with EXPERIENCE. Let the sacrifices I was forced to make, save you the heartache, and the TIME...time that YOU or someone you love ARE RUNNING OUT OF! Call Ascend. You won't believe just how EASY that 1st step to GETTING YOUR LIFE BACK, really CAN be! You DON'T have to feel like this.
