This is a decent RV park! The lots are paved and relatively level, full hookups. The staff is accommodating and helpful. We never used the bathrooms or laundry, so can’t comment on that. The club house is super dated and seems pretty useless unless you need a large place to hang out with a group. It’s unfortunate that city laws don’t allow fires on the ground, but that’s not the park’s fault. Location is good, nice views & near main attractions like the biltmore and pisgah forest. I would recommend!
We recently spent one night at this campground back in August. We were passing through Asheville pulling our camper five hours from home. We had a breakdown with our truck and had to have it towed somewhere and worked on overnight. We reached out to this campground, and they were able to give us a spot for the night and just treated us very kindly. We were even given a discount because we were in such a desperate situation. We really appreciate their kindness!! The view from our site was not too shabby either!!
The bathroom by the pool smelled like sewer every time I went in it. There were times the cleaning smells were overwhelming and they didn't cover the sewer smell. Many of the sites had a sharp incline and it tore off our stabilizer as we backed in MANY scrape marks can be seen on the driveways. Pool was cold for being a heated pool. Our site was so close to the neighbor we couldn't extend the awning all the way without hitting our neighbor's slide out.
We stayed here as we were headed through Asheville. The campground is clean and quiet considering it’s close to the Interstate. Easy in and off the interstate. Bathrooms, laundry, garbage drop, all clean and convenient. We will definitely stay again.Service: 5/5
We stayed there over memorial weekend and check in was easy and the site was very nice. We had good views where we were. The sewage hook up worked well and the water hookup worked well. The water pressure was around 30. All the campers there were very nice and it was a quiet campground at night. No problems. Plenty of places to park your vehicle.
Not a good place for full size motorcoaches. Only a few places fit large rigs and the place we had was not easy to get into without scraping the front end on the ground. Ugh. Smaller unit will do fine. Great access to Ashville. Nothing fancy.
We stayed 2 days here. I can't really rate the park since our site was not in the park! Our site a pull thru was on the outside of the campground fence facing a well traveled road and on the curve. To leave our site we pulled directly into the road. No trees, no privacy. We were just parked on the road. These sites are 1A - 10A. The park may or may not have been good but we were never in it.
The location was really close to the interstate, which made it convenient for travelers, but created a lot of noise. The spots were very close together, so you felt a little cramped. The laundry facilities were extremely old or abused, and were either out of order or did not work properly.Rooms: 3/5
A very unhappy woman checked us in after making me wait several minutes while she finished something on her computer. Bath house smells of sewer gas but is clean. Nice pool, level site. Interstate 40 traffic is quite noisy
Great views from our site. Some sites don't have as nice of views. The sites are very close together with no privacy, but that's pretty standard. The rates were reasonable. A number of reviews said the restrooms/showers were dirty, this was not our experience. Some reviews also mentioned unfriendly staff. The staff we dealt with weren't falling over themselves, but they were friendly and helpful enough. We'd camp here again.
