I first went to Superior Healthcare in 2015 with constant lower back, hip and knee pain. My physician was not at all pleased to hear of my decision after I signed on for Superior Healtcare's whole program. But the experience was just terrific and I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was wonderful, and I never felt like just another patient coming through the door.They greeted me by name and were always available to answer any questions and concerns.I was surprised that receiving the knee injections did not hurt By the time my program was completed I had no pains at all, and, in addition I lost 30 pounds. Last year, 2017, I was experiencing a great deal of upper body pain, in my neck, shoulders, elbows and wrists, as well as the lower back pain that has accompanied me nearly my whole life.I thought about trying another round of Physical Therapy as my physician would have preferred. Talking it over with a friend, she pointed out to me that whenever I spoke of my first experience with Superior Healthcare, I "lit up" and praised the results I had had. That did it. I have been treated by Superior since December 2015. They are caring, professional and knowledgeable. After years of being told my only options were drugs and surgery coming to Superior was refreshing. No drugs, no surgery. My hip was so bad I could not walk to the mailbox. I had stem cell and I received 80% improvement. Since then I have had stem cell in my shoulder, knees and my lower back. I feel better no longer on all the diabetes meds because I am more active. I first heard about Dr. Andrew Wells and his staff through my friends at the local gym I attend. He and his staff came highly recommended. I injured my lower back to the point that it started to cause numbness and tingling in my knees when I sat down for more than 30 minutes. I went to see Dr. Wells and had my initial consultation and my x-Rays. After getting the X-Rays back...I then realized how messed up my spine really was. So, with his guidance, he set me up with an action plan to get everything back into the correct positions as to eliminate all my pain. It has now been several weeks later and all my knee pain has pretty much subsided. If you are looking for a chiropractor who truly has your overall health and well being as a top priority...then do your body some good and go visit Dr. Wells. I am a local Physical Therapist and have treat several patients over the last 2-3 years that have been seen for care at this facility. To say I have concerns is a major understatement. To begin with, when this practice opened they were falsely advertising that they provided physical therapy. I took a letter from our board for them to finally remove this falsity from their window and website. The feedback I have received from my patients is consistent with over utilization of care, unethical and unnecessary interventions and therefore gross over billing of patients and insurance companies. One patient's history to me is consistent with Medicare fraud. Many of my patients were sold the same items and they all report receiving the same care regardless of their problems. Their entire model appears to be to generate as much cash flow as possible and patient care appears to be a low priority. This group will not survive. Don't be fooled.

I've been going now for 3 weeks! These people have managed to accomplish what so many different doctors have not for more than 10 years! Give me some form of pain relief I had never been to a chiropractor in my life, my first mistake! I thought it was all about popping bones, it's not, it's SOOO much more!! They get me in and out, which I absolutely love!! THANK YOU ALL, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS!!

My husband and I moved back to the Asheville area earlier this year. We had been under the care of Dr. Megan Griffiths, Maximized Living, in Shallotte, NC for approx. 2 years. We were disappointed that we could not find another chiropractor here associated with Maximized Living. They treat the "whole" person and help with great nutritional programs. We had both been so blessed to get everything back in alignment and finally feeling like we had a life again!! Then in Sept we met Dr. Wells sister at the mountain state fair and were so happy that he was too associated with Maximized Living. It has been such a pleasure to meet Dr. Wells and Katy and their office staff. They have made us feel so welcome and we feel like part of the family again.
