We paid over $1,100 for outdoor furniture 2 chairs and a small table as a matching set that was brown in color and paid extra for assembly, delivery, and warranty, approximately 40 days later after being outside in the sun, the table still looked the same with no fading. However, the 2 chairs faded from brown color to a green color. What did they paint this with - shoe polish, etc.? We tried to use their warranty but it did not cover fading and then we tried to return the set as defective for fading this quickly but after 30 days, Ashley's has a "no return" policy. How convenient? I do not like to post negative feedback but made an exception here. We will never purchase furniture from them again and recommend anyone who sees this to go elsewhere for their furniture!
Absolutely the shadiest group of people that I've ever purchased anything from in my life. We spent nearly $10,000 on furniture, and when pieces showed up that were broken, they shifted blame and told us it was our fault for not fully inspecting it when it was unboxed. They delivery guys HID the problems and they tell you that you can't be in the room when they are installing because of Covid. I would've left zero stores, but that wasn't an option. I went to the store immediately after the delivery to complain – they told me I had to file a complaint first and then come in and talk to my sales person who could help me. When I did that and came back in, Amy – my sales person - said there was nothing she could do, and sent on my way. I wouldn't buy water from Amy, or Ashley, if my house was ok fine. Absolutely buy at your own risk.
I wouldn’t even give this store 1 star. Do not buy the protection plan on anything. It’s a money pit and they won’t tell you the fine details or honor what they sell you. They will blame corporate but when you call corporate, they will tell you the Chattanooga store is a privately owned licensed store and there’s nothing they can do. They do not make anything right on their end and at the end of the day, the furniture doesn’t hold up over time. We have finally learned our lesson about giving this store a fair chance. I will continue to escalate this.
My mom and I stopped by before our dinner plans. The lovely lady, Amy, knew we were in a rush, and did everything she could to assist us in our timeframe, and we got everything we asked for, and left perfectly in time for our plans. All in all, she took less that 30 minutes to check our credit and complete the purchase, while giving us the best deal possible. 10/10 recommend this store and it’s people!

BUYER BEWARE!!! We bought two lamps from the Chattanooga Ashley store. One worked properly the other did not. Contacted the store less than a week later and was referred to “Corporate”. Corporate said basically you bought it, it is yours there is nothing we can do about it. Called the store back spoke to Ben who said that he was the assistant store manager. He said we have to follow what corporate says. So, when you deal with Ashley, you’re dealing with corporate and all that that entails. I have been an Ashley customer many years but will not do business with them ever again.
Ed Quid was the sales person that worked with us most of an afternoon. He was very professional, patient and very helpful. I highly recommend Ed if you need assistance with purchasing furniture through Ashley. I needed to return to the store for further assistance and Ed as well as the weekend manager went above and beyond to assist me. I love this store and definitely ask for Ed Quid. Thank you Ed and the weekend store manager for helping me. You both are awesome!
This is the second Ashley store in the area I have dealt with with similar results. Giving this store 2 stars because at least the sales person was nice and helpful. IMPORTANT - If you find something 'on sale' on their website and it refers you to go into the store DO NOT expect to get the sale price in store. BAIT AND SWITCH. The manager will ignore the web price on printed paper as proof and charge whatever sticker price is on the furniture. In our case it cost us hundreds of dollars. Also was told from another source that used to work there that their ethics are sub par that was why they left so if you deal with them buyer beware. From me dealing with 2 of their stores that is exactly what I experienced too. Used car salesman selling furniture. Will not be going back, cheaper and easier to buy the stuff online elsewhere.
I had the best experience! I felt like I was in a great friend’s home. The hospitality was exceptional! "Ashley Herrod" was so easy to connect with. But what truly sets this furniture store apart from other stores is the great costumer service they provide. Ashley was EXTREMELY patient and helpful. She truly went above and beyond, walking me all around the store, asking me questions to help me pick out just the right couch to fit my needs of comfort & style, which I had no clue of what to get when I walked in. Never rushed me even when it was almost closing time and made the whole experience so fun and seamless. Thank you Ashley !!! You are amazing and I love how educate she is on the huge selection of beautiful couches, guiding me on the best material and colors that helped me make my choice. I truly believe that the sales rep can make or break your experience and Ashley Herrod far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend her to everyone looking for furniture.
Ashley H who was our sales person not only made the whole purchase from the beginning to end wonderful but was so kind, patient and worked with us on the constant pushing back of delivery. Bought some new leather couches for a re-model back in October. Had to push back delivery for months cause of many issues with re-model. She was fantastic with helping us. Thank you!!
