Chris Payne is a liar and will tell you anything just to get you to buy a piece of furniture. Worse than a used car sales man. They beg you to leave a good review before you leave the store. BELIVE THE BAD REVIEWS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! told Ashley furniture only makes furniture Out of solid wood. Guess what that’s a lie. I ordered two of the same chairs. Ones made out of solid wood, ones made out of plywood/particle board. The chairs don’t even match. Ones broken on arrival. Chris told me I had 72 hours once the chairs are delivered/picked up to return them. We picked up the chairs in Bessemer yesterday. I called the store today to let them know one chair was broken and the colors did not match. BEWARE ONCE YOU PURCHASE AND PAY FOR YOUR FURNITURE THE STORE WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING ELSE!! They told me there’s nothing they could do And that I needed to call customer care in a different country. I had to argue with 5 different people to finally get someone who told me I can bring the chairs back to Bessemer. Now let’s see how long it takes for my refund! My experience so far has been horrible.

Chris Payne wins the worst GM in the country ! He offered and said to my face in person that he would help my parents get another replacement or money back for their recliner chair that they bought for 817.48 $ . They falsely advertise many things in this business. For starters when purchased they said 3 to 6 weeks . Then said it would be 3 months . Chair started having problems the first year during the covid shut down so how were we supposed to even get anything done when corporate would not even answer the 1800# or their e mails ... and they still have not answered back our emails .. if any one out there have or had any issues I recommend to put him or the CEO Todd Wanek as well as the Director of operations Kevin Lane on blast untill they fix the issues and come up with better business practices.. and also hit up the BBB . Thank you

My sales guy was very adequate about the entire store. He was polite knowledgeable about the fabric and the sales, he also spoke very highly about the product of the the store. I really enjoyed my time with Andrew showing me the different product that Ashley has to offer. Andrew also communicated with the price and answered all my question. Thanks a lot for great customer service

Update: After I got home from purchasing a sectional, I realized it would not fit in my living room. I called to have my order cancelled and it has now been 11 days and I cannot get anyone to refund my money or cancel my order. I have been told repeatedly that someone will call me back and no one ever does. After 2 trips to the store and several phone calls, my husband finally got our refund. They told us 10 days ago that it would take 7-10 days to get my credit card refunded. Apparently "it was a process to cancel an order". Well, 10 days later they still had not credited my card and would not return our phone calls. My husband went to the store and magically they were able to refund my credit card in minutes. I do not like being lied to and I will not return to this store to buy furniture. This is sad because I have always purchased my furniture from Ashley. Never again. Great place and great furniture! Go see Kinley!

I came in looking for a chest of drawers for my daughter’s room. Mr. Fred Tuscaloosa Store met me right at the door and was attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and very patient in showing me all the options that fitted my need. I would recommend the store and Mr. Fred in particular for all your quality furniture needs. I was highly satisfied with my experience.

Excellent customer service from Joe Sellers. He's very easy to talk to and also stayed an hour after closing for us to finalize our purchase! He took us on a magical journey, and we left with ordering a new king-sized bedroom set and a Tempur-pedic mattress! He explained everything that we were concerned about and made things nice and simple for us. We also got a great deal for everything. Highly recommend you talk to Joe for your furniture needs.
