So the store ordered the wrong mattresses for our twin bunk. They sent out queen mattresses. This experience has been a complete disaster. Manager of the store told me the soonest they could get the new mattresses out is 3 days which would be on a Tuesday. The problem is the pending mattresses won’t remove from pending until the truck comes back to the warehouse. So i would need to buy them in order to receive the mattresses on Tuesday. Otherwise i can wait until they come back and remove from pending. They can’t guarantee that i will be able to still receive them on that Tuesday. So now my son has to sleep on a floor until further notice because we already donated his old bed. After all this i will never recommend or use Ashley furniture ever again. Wish there was a option for 0 stars. Thanks Ashley furniture for this terrible experience.
Ordered a sofa sleeper on line. Everything moved quickly & delivery was scheduled. The day before the delivery, we had a large heavy desk & our old sofa removed.Same dimensions, just not a sleeper out of our front entrance with no issues. We have had other furniture & even large refrigerators delivered & removed from front entrance & informed delivery guys more than once. They refused to use front entrance without us signing a release in case of damage to our home or the furniture. Finally, with comments made under their breaths, they attempted to bring sofa in our back entrance, with no success, so they took sofa back & left. They told us that someone would contact us about what we wanted to do within 24 -48 hours. I received an automatic email informing a scheduled delivery date for next week, like the failed delivery attempt never happened. I found the same Ashley sleeper @ Midwest Clearance Center the next day & sleeper was delivered two days later, IN THE FRONT ENTRANCE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. I never heard anything from Ashley so I called to cancel & talked to a very foreign speaking gentleman who did finally cancel my order I think after much repeating back & forth. Never received a cancellation confirmation as promised. Not a very good first and last experience.
Everything was good and I appreciated Williams help and knowledge. The one thing I did not like, is when he explained the protection plan. I wanted it but he made it sound like I got my money back, after 5 years if I did not use it. Reading the fine print, I discovered that Ashley only issues an Ashley credit for the protection plan money. That is a fairly bid issue and I would have liked to informed of that.
We purchased a couple sofas and an end table from the South County store. We were helped by David. He was very knowledgeable about the current promotions as well as thr products. He made our buying experience very enjoyable. We feel like we got a great deal as well as taking advantage of their 0% interest for a year. We'll be going back soon for a new table and chairs for our kitchen. I highly recommend our salesman David for your furniture needs.
The sales associate was great. Took the time to get us what we wanted. The delivery service was top notch. Nice guys. Made me smile. Hey Lowe's you need guys like this because you stink. I am already looking at more furniture.
We ordered a twin bunk bed from here and has been a complete nightmare. They ordered and shipped queen mattresses with a twin bunk bed. The manager by the name of Lori had me come down to the store to set-up the exchange for the twin mattresses. When i got there she tells me she was unable to process the payment through my lender due to no available funds. The mattresses they ordered wrong was holding up my credit. Said the only way they could guarantee the earliest delivery i would have to pay out of pocket. Which makes no sense because i have already paid for these mattresses. The new order is actually cheaper than what they originally ordered. She told me well you didn’t pay for anything your lender did. Very rude once again!!! Why would you have me come down here to tell me this? I told them i should have a early delivery no matter what because i should already have these mattresses. Its not fair my son has to sleep on the floor because of their mistakes. She than said i have 3 sons and they sometimes sleep on the floor. Really??? very rude!!i The other was i didn’t buy the items my lender did. She hung up on us once over the phone. The delivery company who brought the items stripped out 2 bolts to the bunk bed. When I noticed they took off in a hurry littered their trash in my neighbors property and also forged my signature on their completion documents. It seems corporate is impossible to speak with with no actions being taken. I advise anyone to spend their money anywhere besides Ashley home store
I would give this company zero stars if I could. Our couch came damaged. It was small so we didn’t make a big deal. Now we have noticed our table is cracked. My husband has called MULTIPLE times and is always told someone will come to look at it and a supervisor will call him back. No one has ever called him. Then he gets an email today stating that they can’t help him even though we were given a sheet in store saying cracks are covered up to 5 years. We bought this furniture for our first home and spent 8K yet can’t even get a call back. This company is a joke and doesn’t care about their customers. Horrible experience. Spend your money elsewhere.
This place was awesome. Checked 4 different stores and was shocked at how expensive everything was. Went to Ashley and Scott introduced himself in a friendly manner and didn’t pester us at all. We found several sectionals that were decently priced and the color we wanted. Scott was great in answering all of our questions and we are super excited for our couch.
The staff was nice and accommodating upon entry. The store had a wonderful selection of furniture and the sales representative, Susie Eichholz, even found the exact sectional we were looking for online. It was not in the store, but ordered from her and went on our way with a delivery date of 7-8 days out. We were in the middle of a military move across country and just closed on our house. My kids 2-4 years old were staying in a hotel only covered by government for 10 days until we received furniture. Due to the sales representative not processing our payment we did not receive furniture for nearly a month rendering our family to use blow up mattresses and lawn chairs until we received furniture. The mistake is excusable but the lack of ownership this sales person displayed when I brought the new delivery date to her attention was unacceptable and will tarnish the relationship I have had with Ashley’s since my first purchase in 2004. I wish you a better experience at the Lemay Ferry Ashley Homestore. Update: there was a response to this review stating to send information to them, so we could discuss further. Sent email and after 10 days, nothing. Awful customer service.
Will Never Shop there Again! Do Not pay the 170 dollars for White Glove delivery, because that’s not what you’ll get. The experience literally left me in tears, and Ashley Furniture won’t help you once the furniture is delivered. They told me they don’t except returns, or handle issues with delivery, or give you a refund when the furniture went down 300 dollars in less than a week. Once it’s delivered they basically tell you it’s not their problem, call customer service, who say they make a complaint, but yet NO one ever calls you back. Worst experience I’ve ever had buying furniture and I will never shop there again!!
