Best customer service ever! Steve at this store has went above and beyond his job description to help me from clear across the country! Most stores are there for you for the sale but disappear after. I can say it is not the case here. This place will be taking care of you long after your initial purchase. Whatever your furniture need, visit these kind folks. You won’t be disappointed!
The staff knew that I was coming to pick up a new mattress that I had a store credit as a mattress cover company had honored their warranty. I have been very patient and waited for a replacement to be ordered. After over a month I have been told that they no longer carried that mattress so I chose another mattress to replace the damaged one. The staff was very hasty in dismissing me and only one salesperson working with a man behind a desk who was less than helpful and rather rude. I will never come back to this or any other Ashley Furniture store. The people here seem shady and are less than helpful. Do not shop here ever. The worst furniture store there is.
The older female that assisted me at the Scottsbluff location was rude and not helpful. I would have purchased, but her immediate attitude and apparent frustration with me was very obvious as I asked normal questions before one would make a purchase should. I do not recommend this location.
Steve is the worst!! Horrible customer service. I spent over $2,000 on living room furniture and warranty insurance. Over 6 months to have it delivered. Less than a month the recliner broke and I got the run around back and forth that Ashley's and the insurance neither wanted to cover it. Finally I did convince Ashley's to come look at the chair and they were going to charge me $35 to look if it was really broken or just not put together correctly. Well it really was broken so they took the chair. I had a broken chair in my home for a month before they came. They took the chair to replace it. I got a call today weeks later that they will return my chair tomorrow broken. They will not fix it or replace it. I was told I lied about the damage I was told even a grown man could not do that damage and i probably dropped it out of a truck. I asked what I should do next. He told me either order another or chair or find someone who can fix it! I said I have that insurance but it's passed 10 days now. He said call them and just make up a story or they won't fix it. I have NEVER Been treated so poorly by a customer service representative! Very disappointed and I hope I can get my chair fix so I'm not out $378.00
Do. Not. Shop. At. This. Store. If I could give it no stars I would. This store is a joke, they have no idea about the financing they offer or how it works and have been the biggest nightmare to deal with, especially as the sales associate has no idea what is going on, refuses to do her job and then threatened LEGAL ACTION. Plus, you can find way better quality, way better priced home furnishings online that you will be enjoying way sooner than by shopping with these clowns.
Can't give this place no stars would if I could. Bought 2 living room sets advertised as suede leathernot. Both sets of furniture broke in less then 6 months.Frames Dont ever by anything with the Ashley brand on it!!!
Ashley franchises these homestores and then they can do whatever they want when it comes to delivery and customer service. I ordered online with FREE doorstep delivery and Steve called when it arrived and said i could come pickup my dresser. I explained i selected free doorstep delivery and he stated he will not deliver it due to it being far away. So whats the point of it being offered if you refuse to do even when the online has you select your zip code and it finds the closest store?! Corporate basically said there was nothing they can do either about the situation since its a franchise. Definitely will continue to do our business with the Ashley in Rapid City after this ordeal.
Delivery guys drove right past my house and said they were too hungover to deliver. Called to talk to their manager and he was very rude to us, he apparently thinks a customer would make something crazy like that upthe deliver kids must have went back and told him they had pink eye after they told me they were hungover. Then waited a week longer and didnt hear back, cancelled our order without letting us know because i let the BBB know about their poor business practices, then they claimed they sent a check that we havent seen. Hell of a way to do business.
The absolute worst customer service I have experienced by far. The delivery guys were great. No response to phone calls. Now we are closed 2 days a week but how would anyone know that. No way to leave a message. Online still shows open those days. This was my last email to them. They didnt respond. I had to call them myself. I have not heard a thing from you. Here we are a week later with no response again. I guess I will be going to my bank today taking back my money from you and head over to where I can get furniture now. How frustrating to have a new house but cant have people over for a place to sit. I understand the issues with covid and shipping. I just would have rather had better communication. I gave you all over $1000.00 and you have not bothered to call. This is the only communication that has even taken place. I am in the customer service industry and communication is the key no matter if my couch is in India. I will not be back for furniture ever again. You can take my name off your mailing list. If I could give no stars I would. Husband and I initially bought new living room furniture and the coffee table was slightly damaged when we recieved it. The scratch was small and on the side where it won't be noticed so we didn't bother to say anything but it was obvious from the big rip in the box it came in that it hadn't been handled properly. We went back a couple weeks later to order mattresses. We needed the mattresses in about 3 weeks for some family that was coming. The mattresses we originally chose we were told wouldn't be in until possibly July it was May 16th when we were in the store. So we asked if there were any that WOULD be in on time and Steve told us if we went with a different mattress we would have it in time. So we changed our order to this other mattress Steve recommend even though it wasn't our first choice. The time for our mattresses to come in came and went. My husband called and Steve told him they'd been backed up. Steve said they are sending us the floor model supposedly professionally cleaned but I have my doubts so that we will have at least ONE bed before our company arrives but the other bed is not expected to be in before we need it. They are refusing to discount us for the fact that it's the floor model. We asked if we could just get a refund instead and Steve said no. So now we are stuck paying for a floor model at the price of a new mattress, we aren't getting the mattresses we actually wanted, and one of them won't even be here on time. What a joke! We were going to furnish our kitchen through this store as well but obviously have changed our minds.
