Fran Sherman is a licensed psychotherapist, and received her master’s degree in clinical social work from New York University in 1985.
Fran has been licensed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and in Florida, where she has practiced for the past 14 years. Her license (FL SW 4651) is registered with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy & Mental Health Counseling within the state Department of Health.
She's been a speaker for small seminars and larger groups and has appeared on radio and television to share her insight into the issues facing indivuals, couples and families. Fran has appeared as an expert on national TV such as truTV and HLN, online on Fox News Live and has been a regular contributor on television stations such as WPTV and WFLX in West Palm Beach, and WSFL in Miami-Fort Lauderdale, where she's used as an on-air expert to discuss topics from helping your children avoid the stress and anxiety of standardized assessment tests to how to handle love and relationships on Valentine's Day. WPTV, the local NBC station, used her as an expert on cyberbullying following the local death of a young girl.
