Very nice people for sure. However you go in for a comprehensive exam for an hour and THEN schedule you for a cleaning. For most of us that do not like the dentist it's usually hard to get us to come back. And it's just not a very intimate place.
The service here is great when you can actually get in. I typically schedule a cleaning appointment every 6 months. A day before my appointment was scheduled I received a call from the office saying the hygienist called in sick and they wouldn't be able to get me in for another 6 weeks due to scheduling. I was frustrated I couldn't get in any earlier but I understood. When six weeks passed. I called the office to confirm my rescheduled appointment and they told me I did not have an appointment scheduled for me. They told me they are booked into April with their current hygienist, or I can book with their new Hygienist and be placed on their waiting list for some time in February. It's been a complete mess with scheduling and staffing the last 2 years.
I had an amazing first visit. The staff were so friendly and were so helpful. They were Able to help me be able to get my false teeth and I am so appreciative y’all are awesome. Keep up the great work.
Very helpful with insurance info. Had been more than awhile since I'd been to the dentist and no judgement. Just wanted to help. Provided me with a plan and affordable payment arrangements. Was super pleased.
My husband had a broken tooth that he went in to get removed. When he got there they would not remove the one tooth, said that he needs all his teeth pulled and dentures. They gave us an estimate and we paid for the services, then when he went back to get fitted for his dentures, they told him that the first estimate was wrong, and there was a slight difference. So we asked what the difference was and it was over 3k. Big difference. When asked why so much they gave us another print out that they added another tooth too, said that its just a root but still has to be removed by the oral surgeon, a consult fee and changed the type of procedure and what dentist has to perform the work that needs to be done. Not sure that with this type of mistake we feel comfortable with the type of work that would be performed.
I can not say enough about how surprised and happy I was during the entire first experience and visit went for my 10 yr old daughter who needed 4 deep baby molars removed that our family dentist wouldnt take on, and ahe needed an oral surgeon. The initial call made me nervous, being first, an automated voice prompt to make an appt, and then a place with several locations, and also a business I'd never had any experience with or knew anyone who had. I was able to talk to a receptionist who helped me with many questions and make an appt. Day of our appt, We got right in after 10 mins, the staff and the woman Dentist at the WDM/ Mills Civic Parkwy location were AMAZING!!! I not only was impressed with the down to earth helpful staff, but the woman Dr was so knowledgeable and very friendly, and also informed me my daughter actually didn't need an oral surgeon for that procedure afterall..she could perform it all with local sedation, and even do it that day if I wanted since we were quite a drive. I would honestly encourage anyone to definately go for treatment with Aspen Dental after my wonderful experience at that location!!! Thank you so much to the woman Dr and all the staff that worked and helped us on 8-10!!!
My 18 year old daughter went there for an initial consultation for getting her wisdom teeth removed. I have dental insurance through my employer of 21 years. Aspen was not happy that I refused to give them either of our social security numbers. They told me they are required in order to find our dental insurance info, and I know for a fact that they are not needed for that. They told my daughter that they would submit her wisdom teeth info to our insurance and let us know. That was 3 weeks ago. I have called and left messages twice with no return call to set an appt to get her teeth pulled. We have a referral from our dentist.
I went in over 6 months ago to get an infected tooth pulled. Instead, they saw my insurance and tried to milk it if you ask me ..they never agreed to do an extraction of the infected tooth only. That's All I went in for. They wanted to "fix" all my teeth all together and they would start with the extraction of the infected tooth. They would not just quote me for the extraction I needed. This is still infected, and these are the last of the dentist's I trusted. Now I have to go to Iowa City to get the job done, with two insurances....which are acceptable to many. The worst part is they took precious time away from me. I am sicker now.
You have an amazing staff working at this location. From the initial welcome to the care given by each individual. I came in with a broken tooth and infection. I was completely at ease with my Hygienist I am terrible with names I am so sorry to Dr Engel who made the process painless. The instructions for after care were easy to understand and follow. Thank you for making a painful event pain free. I will recommend your Dental Clinic to anyone looking for a wonderful and caring group. Thank You again.
I’ve recently been getting a lot of work done here. A crown, cleaning, and a couple cavities. I’ve always been terrified of the dentist but let me tell you I cannot stop telling people how amazing the entire staff is! The hygienist, manager, dental assistants, dentist, and the ladies in reception, everyone here is so sweet and funny They truly take the fear out of getting dental work done. Dr. Vedachhia is the best dentist I’ve ever been to and I highly recommend her.
