BEWARE. Very unorganized! I made an appointment for the same day and explained that I had a dentist but needed a chipped tooth fixed because I was going on vacation and my Dentist was out of the office. When I got to the location I made the appointment. They had no information about me. They did not explain any new patient protocol such as needing x-rays, etc. I wrote down why I needed treatment on the paperwork I filled out. They brought me back after waiting almost an hour and walked me in a room with x-ray equipment. I said I just got x-rays at my dentist. I just need a chip in my front tooth fixed. NOW they explained their “New patient protocol “ . This place just wants to make money! It’s like an assembly line. The Dentist should at least speak with you and find out the problem you’re having before they expect you to pay for a full mouth x-ray.
I've been to Aspen in Niles a handful of times now. I needed a molar pulled and eventually oral surgery for wisdom teeth. First let my say the x-rays were not free and I should have been allowed to bring x-rays from my regular dentist. I had a terrible time with the receptionist/financial ladies. Was scheduled for oral surgery to have the molar and wisdom teeth out all at once. The molar was becoming chronically infected from the impacted wisdom tooth. I was never given a surgery date, just told in February. After calling and asking once a week I was told to stop calling and just wait for a call back. I finally called back toward the end of February only to be told that I would be scheduled in March instead. My molar was very infected by then so they finally decided to pull it. For the molar extraction I was not numb. But was told it was probably just pressure I was feeling. I literally came out of the chair and was crying and yelling in pain when he started to break the tooth free. I could feel it! He didn't believe me and continued. When I was hyperventilating and shaking he finally stopped to inject the area with more lidocaine. When it was done the assistant had the nerve to say it was my fault that I didn't speak up about being in pain and therefore my fault for suffering. That lady and the chicks in the front office are unprofessional and rude with nasty attitudes for no reason to people. There's one lady in the front that has been decent. Just had oral surgery for my wisdom teeth. The surgeon was nice and his older assistant lady was the bomb. They are the only ones that made me give any stars for this review. However my stitches are really loose. To the point that one has been getting in my teeth and has broken. My incision is wide open. When I call today, if they screw around or are rude I'm done going there and will go somewhere else.
Staff was super friendly! I was nervous in the beginning but Dr. H and his assistants made me feel relaxed every time when doing my root canal & crown. It took a few visits and I'm extremely happy with the outcome. Thank you!
I had an absolutely awesome experience at Aspen Dental in Niles Ohio. The entire staff was professional, personable and at times, funny. The dental care was gentle, and for the first time in years I do not dread returning to the dentist.Thank -You to all who cared for me, you have a great team!!!
Very nice and polite. The staff was attentive. The dentist was wonderful. I can't wait to go back. I felt very comfortable.
I went there for a free exam and x-rays they checked everything out did a total evaluation and what it would cost. I can't do it now but I got my new denture plate for the top and they even went out of their way to find me a coupon and at least I have a nationwide dental services I signed up for their insurance also everyone there was friendly and not pushy I would recommend the Niles office to anyone without insurance
Not super happy. I called for an appointment for a cavity almost 3 weeks ago and they got me scheduled for Friday. I get a call from someone to confirm my appointment and gather my insurance information who tells me this is a new patient appointment and don't do any actual dental work on the initial appointment and would have to schedule another appointment for any dental work. When I explained that the first person I spoke to told me they would be able to take care of my cavity he said that's just the call center that you spoke to and they don't really know those things. Well why do you have someone answering calls for your company that doesn't know these things? If I'd have known this is how they do things I would have told them not to schedule the appointment and found another dentist who can do can actually do what I called for in the first place. Just a big disappointment and even bigger waste of time.
The whole staff did an amazing job. First of all I really dislike Dentist's in general. They made me feel comfortable and the dentist went over every step in today procedure. I think I just found my new Dentist. Thank you
I like Dr Augustin. However, I tried to go back there after being seen at a different dentist office. They called me the day before my appointment to let me know that I will need a whole mouth xray and it wouldn't be covered because I already had one this year. And i will need $140 or something close, to pay for the x-ray. Why couldn't I have brought the x-ray from the other office? I have just been suffering for too long and now I have to go back to the other office I don't like. Why is it so hard to switch dental offices? Also i paid off my previous balance before scheduling, and I wish I wouldn't have
The staff was welcoming and personable. All steps were fully explained making for less anxiety.
