If you're looking for a Dentist in or near Newton, IA, look no further. You should also disregard any of the negative reviews that are older than August 2022 6 months ago, as I write this as a new dentist has taken up the mantle at Associated Dentists around this timeframe. Older reviews will not accurately reflect the experience you can expect from a new appointment. Dr. Sarah Eckstein is a bright spark, and it's obvious that she cares about her patients. She is kind, compassionate, funny, and very apt to educating her patients every step of the way. Dr. Sarah is extremely competent in her profession. Creighton puts their students through a very tough and hard-fought program, so you can expect that she knows how to best handle your case. My most recent visit was hands down the best dental experience that I've had in my 27 years of life. Lastly, she has a very supportive husband, so you know she won't bring any personal issues into the office that might affect her work!

The Dental Hygienist did a fantastic job. The Dentist, though, talked way over my head in explaining the few issues that I had with my teeth. I don't know what she was trying to tell me.
I was treated very well and respectfully. Meghan and Dr. Sarah made me feel like family. Dr. Sarah and Meghan were very nice to explain things to me. I love the respect they showed. I highly recommend Associated Dentists for this and their expertise.

If you are looking for a good dentist that cares about you as a patient and is highly regarded in the community, I wouldn’t go here. This office used to have kind and compassionate dentists, hygienists, and staff, but most of those people have left thanks to a decline in ethics and corporate greed. I am glad that I, and the people I care about, never have to step foot in this place again. You can delete every bad review that is posted, but unless you find some empathy and professionalism you’re going to lose a lot more patients than you already have. People are going to notice when most of the positive reviews mention dentists, hygienists, and staff who are no longer there.
My appointment was set up by my insurance company on a three-way call. They let me think for 2 months they were going to see me. I drove 31 miles to their office to get told they don't accept my insurance. After they had called me and asked me to come in a half hour early. This blonde came out and gave me the dirtiest look and then wanted to know if I had insurance. She acted like I was some homeless person off the street. I wasn't dressed bad. I had just left my doctor's office in Grinnell. I am 71 years old I have never been treated with such disrespect in front of other patients as here. The front desk clerk said my insurance was acceptable that the paperwork had come through. I know it had to have been the one that came through the door. I had a bad feeling soon as she entered and I didn't know what it was over. I have filed a grievance against this dentist office and I advise anybody that has any kind of Medicare not to go in there. You are disrespected like you're the dirt of the Earth. I wouldn't even give this office a one only they didn't have any lower stars. I was so embarrassed by the whole scenario. Apparently they only cater to rich people, but making me drive that far no reason was just inexcusable.
