The objective and purpose of the AGC Florida East Coast Chapter is to promote better relations between private owners and public bodies; maintain high professional standards in the conduct of work; combat unethical, unfair and improper practices; preserve free enterprise; encourage efficiency among contractors; support contractors and contractors' associations in efforts to rectify the conditions of an unsatisfactory character; encourage those methods of contracting for work which relieve the contractor of improper risks; and finally, to encourage sound business methods tending to raise the standing of contractors generally in the business world, partnering with AGC of America, Inc., to deliver quality services and enchance the value of membership, becoming a part of a national voice of more than 33,000 firms in the contruction industry nationwide.
