Children’s museums are educational institutions committed to serving the needs and interests of children by providing exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity and motivate lifelong learning.
Begun in 1962, the Association of Children’s Museums is an international professional organization representing and advocating for its member institutions and is a resource for all levels of a member institution’s staff. ACM’s roster includes more than 500 members, representing a total of 30 countries, of which more than 340 are museum members. Membership also is open to universities, companies, consultants, students, and individuals.
The Association of Children's Museums will strengthen all children’s museums through leadership, advocacy, professional development, and service.
The Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) is a global professional member service organization for the children’s museum field that works to ensure every family and child has access to a high-quality children’s museum experience. Please visit ACM’s website to learn more.
