Our goal is to provide the patient with an option of regular medical care or integrative medical care based on the patient’s choice. We provide both treatment options, but we have seen that integrative medical treatment options in the long run work better, decreasing side effects of medications, need of medication doses, and decrease in the need of inhalers, nebulizers and oxygen in patients with lung disorders. Our long-term goals for the asthma program and copd program are to decrease exacerbation of underlying symptoms, decrease emergency room visits and/or hospitalization and overall decrease healthcare costs by understanding one’s own unique body type and balance and energy one has based on Ayurveda. Generally, it takes one to two years for the changes in the body to happen. So, we have created a bronchial asthma care program and COPD/emphysema care program. It is a unique and clinically monitored program on a one-on-one basis with a regular follow up and education sessions.
