Asti Ristorante and Bar

We used Asti to cater our wedding this past weekend...the food was phenomenal. We had no doubt after trying their eggplant egg rolls that their food would be delicious. We are extremely pleased with the food and service they provided. They made us feel like family! I would highly recommend this restaurant for any catering events or if you are just looking for a bite out!

Cleaning tables around me with a bleach spray takes away your appetite. Lettuce not fresh. Roasted nuts tasted old and the eggplant had seen better days. Hard working waiters but food is awful. Waster of 70 dollars. Very sad because we wanted to try a new place and it’s in a cute location. Stay away!!!my husband just read this and said he liked the dressing.

Food was reasonable and very yummy, we only had apps but they were good sized. It was kinda dead for a Friday night. The bartender was very nice. Seemed like a place for regulars.

Food was good but not hot....My margarita so so. Came in a weird glass. Seems they were short handed. It took forever to get our drinks. But nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

The food was good however the Asti Penne was supposed to include asparagus which was missing... Also it wouldn't hurt to mop and clean the floor behind the bar.. It was pretty dirty. Dave the bartender was great !! Great service !!

Asti is a hidden gem ... I would never had known about it .. my friend & I were there tonite for ladies night and there was hardly anyone there ! There was a one man band there and he was terrific ! Food and drink specials and it was very good ! More people need to come out for a nice meal and music on Wednesday’s !! Staff was very nice too !!

My Griiled Tuna was cooked perfect and had great service

This place is pretty new, I think. It's one of those locations that just can't hold a restaurant for too long... It's a litle off the beaten track, which is the problem its predecessors had, compared to the other places on Branford Green. I actually like the location--more seating and a little quieter than the other local restaurants. We went on the night of the Branford festival--the inside smelled faintly of bleach, so we got some seats outside, but it was a beautiful night. Server was very keen! A couple beers from the tap--mine, a Peroni, was a little stale. The food was excellent, though, if a dollar or two overpriced. I think it's still finding its feet, but it's got potential.

Great Italian food with large portions enough for the next day. Clean environment with a great atmosphere for a date. They have deals every day of the week. A hidden gem of Branford.

Service was excellent. I ordered “pan-seared tilapia” and “shrimp and scallop.” They were both tasteless. Maybe the chef had an off night.
