Absolutely loved the atmosphere here! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable owner and staff! It's very clean, has a good snack bar menu and some beers on tap. Small town feel for those away from your small town! We will for sure be back!
Had a birthday party for my 11 yr old son there. The older gentleman was very helpful, but his wife was very rude and snarky. Very bad attitude. I understand that there are rules at every establishment, however when I have a 4yr old that was part of the party not wanting to bowl, but yet we had her on the board as a player, we wanted to take her off and add another person. We were not allowed to and had to pay an additional person fee. As they were going to be one over our limit. So even though the 4 yr old never touched the ball and never played the game, the lady there, I'm guessing owner, was being rude as hell to the fact that we are not allowed to and we need to add her and pay an additional person fee. The money is not the problem here. It is the was she handled the situation and how rude she was being. When we went to get other kids shoes that were not yet at the party but we had already put there name on the board, she gave attitude about that as well. I did tell her I didnt want to argue and just charge whatever and let's just get this over with. Will never have a party or go to this bowling alley ever again. Pizzas are not worth the money, you can go to dollar store and get better ones for a hell of a lot cheaper. Food was over cooked when ordered. One cook said that is the way it comes out when he cooks. Well maybe if you were to take the food out earlier it wouldn't burn. When party was done, we cleaned up, because that's how we are. We bought more beverages to finish a college game on TV, but were asked to leave because we were not playing. This was the last straw. We are customers spending money on snacks and drinks and watching your TV, but yet you want us to leave. To sum it all up worse experience ever in my past 15 years throwing a birthday party for my kids. Not only do I suggest not to have a party there, but I suggest not to even go spend any money at this place. Me and my family will never spend a dime there.
Great family friendly bowling. No smoking or vaping allowed inside. Decent food, good beer on tap, and great prices. You can have hours of fun for very little money, especially if you take advantage of the special nights! My only complaint is that though they say they close at midnight, they really shut down at 11
Great customer service! Bought a ball from their proshop, Don was friendly and took the time to explain everything to me about drilling layouts and was very patient. Great place to bowl and if you're looking to get your own custom ball, this is the place to go! Excellent customer service.
I enjoyed my visit there. It's a smaller bowling alley but in decent shape. The people were pretty great and helped get us all set up and helped when we had any problems. I will be returning in the future.
Paid to have a birthday party there, and the entire two hours received poor customer service from the owner herself. All of my guests were treated the same way. When I addressed the problem was told "I'm sorry you feel that way". Save your money and go to Diamond lanes.
Not the friendliest place. I'm being nice. Your response to the above comment gives me the opportunity to publicly thank you for proving my point. Your comment implied that I have been bowling at your establishment and I haven't been able to throw a ball in 9 years therefore I don't have team either. I will admit that ONCE I found a candy bar in my purse that I forgot was there so I ate it breaking the rule of bringing in outside food and for that I apologize. My comment originated from an employee treating me poorly at the counter- period. Banning me from the lanes without even asking why or what happened and my husband who didn't even know it was written is proof of how you do your business.
Don Blankenship is awesome, got my new ball ready to perfection and took time to give me tips. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to become a better bowler...even if you live in Midland. Thank you Don!
I was impressed by the inside, clean and non smoking environment. We had a bit of a wait getting shoes and paying but only because one person was working. But we had a great time.
I would give it a zero but it is not an option. if you want to spend ALOT OF MONEY for a birthday party, Be MISTREATED, ANGRY THE ENTIRE TIME, And then in trying to resolve the matter the lady that says she is the owner is the rudest of all. I suggest you go somewhere where you spend a lot of money enjoy your memories and the staff helps make it an enjoyable experience, as if they appreciate your business. A concept that Astrobowl has forgotten.
