Had great seats and as others reviews. I found this show very odd. At times I was entertained but most of the time I wasn’t at all. Definitely a kids show from 5-10 years old. I would not go again ever or take my kids because it was just so odd and weird ! Two stars for the hospitality.
It's rare that I write reviews for something everyone seems to love, and side with the few negative ones. But, in this case, the negative reviews are right. I saw this show once before many before years ago and remember being impressed. This time around, I brought my 8 year old with me given that some of the negative reviews mentioned it was better suited for kids and those folks were spot on! What I saw and heard was a lot of humor that could only be appreciated by children. It was cheesy and even boring at times. It just wasn't an impressive performance - it lacked cohesion, a story, and any sort of theme. The band was great, but the show itself felt low budget and not thought out, with barely any props. We were upgraded to poncho seats for free when they closed the balcony section where we had originally purchased tickets, and, even at $60 per seat with taxes for 3rd row, I was still disappointed. Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because my kid had fun but even he, at 8 years old, said the performance was all over the place.
Music band was great. But too much odd and childish performances. Not worth for the poncho seats.
EXCELLENT SHOW. 100% recommended. I've seen it in Orlando and now in NYC and I'm still loving it. You won't be disappointed.
I’ve seen them on TV before so barely knew what I getting into. What then on YouTube. It’s better! If you do go, no joke… take earplugs and a sleep mask for the end! It ending is horrific, if I could have opened my eyes I would have left. It was childish, boring in places and physically painful watch at the end when the strobe lights just go on and on and on, I literally had my eyes covered for the best part of 5 minutes, what a way to experience a show… in pain and bored! It was not cohesive, it was barely entertaining at times and the prerecorded events were too often and unnecessary. Bringing audience members up on stage was fun but tedious when you realised that it was prerecorded. They brough up a 6’+ guy and on the video it was 5’5” lady with her hair sticking out, you could see it wasn’t same person and instantly you knew what was about to happen. We were upgraded, everyone is upgraded! Ponchos aren’t necessary, do not pay extra or even put them on. I left with a headache from the painful lights, blaring music and terrible performances. Mediocre at best, I’d pay $20 to see it at most and leave 10 minutes before the end to save your hearing, eyesight and sanity.
Quite entertaining. I really like the unique drumming of the pipes which they are know for. You can telk ehe kids in the audience really love it. Performance includesl interaction with the audience. Theater was small so you get close up experience of the show.
Best time ever. They even interact with audience. It was the best time. Great acts, with comedy and visuals. Perfect for all ages
Well let's be honest. This felt like a Off Broadway B or C version of a bigger venue. The crowd loved it. The mezzanine was not great.
As wonderful as the show may be, the seating is far tighter than the worst airplane seating. If you are larger than average or claustrophobic …don’t waste your money!
Had so much fun at this amazing show in nyc
