DELICIOUS!!!! I was visiting from Jacksonville and decided I wanted to check out a few bakeries before heading home and dear lord, I am SOOOO GLAD I went here. I genuinely do not understand the bad reviews. I didn’t catch her name but the lady working there was super nice, helpful and funny. I went in there not knowing what I wanted other than a chocolate croissant. She was super patient, gave me suggestions! I decided to have lunch while I was there and I got the quiche Lorraine, the Ivory cake thingy, and the most delicious raspberry chocolate. Quiche was the best I’ve ever had and I LOVE quiche. The little cake was absolutely delicious and so adorable, and the chocolate was to die for. I sat in the cafe and read my book for a good while while I snacked. I got an assortment of things to take home and everything is so good. The chocolate croissants are so good. The guava tart was SO FREAKIN GOOD. I also got an XL croissant and it is so buttery and soft and flaky and perfect. I also Got a few of the individual cakes. Everything traveled super well back to Jacksonville, about a 5 hour drive and I didn’t do anything special!!! Highly recommend!!!
Been to Paris twice and I can confidently say these are the best French pastries I’ve ever had. The chocolate almond croissant was mind blowing, and the apple croissant was a true delight. The veggie croissant which is vegan was amazing as well. 10/10 will be back.
Went there expecting a cute little french bakery to grab a coffee and some french pastries. This place was nothing like it. First, we got there at 9am it supposedly opens at 7am, the door was locked. The old lady inside seemed annoyed that we wanted to come in. Without saying hello, she barks that she only has the pastries by the door available. She had one of the most terrible attitudes I've seen from a customer service employee. She was very rude the whole time we were inside, we did nothing that warranted such attitude. I think some of it has to do with her not being super comfortable speaking English but still... The place itself is a bit run down and in need of an update. We ended grabbing a apple croissant and 2 coffees to go. They were ok, but not great, and definitely not fresh nor made on premises. We didn't try the baguettes but they looked terrible, I would never buy bread there. We're French and can tell this is a very poor example of a French bakery we had some good baked goods in Miami, but not there. It's a shame because it's in a great location, they could really make something good here.
The vegan veggie croissant was very good. We tried an assortment of the macarons and especially liked the passion fruit and coconut varieties. The coffee is good and the people are friendly. This place inspires daydreams of charcuterie board picnics on the beach.
Wonderful little bakery that offers wine flights with food pairings. The owner really knows what she's doing. Some of the best small plates especially the chocolate almond croissant! And, the wines are paired perfectly. The brick courtyard out front is lovely and relaxing with low key French music. Delightful experience.
We really enjoyed our breakfast this morning! Lola was incredibly warm and welcoming. She also made the best cappuccino and iced coffee for my husband. I absolutely loved my cappuccino and it reminded me of my travels in Italy and our breakfasts there. My husband would have ordered another iced coffee to go but already had espressos at our hotel. We will be back! I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a quick and tasty breakfast!
Staying in Miami for my birthday and stumbled upon this little spot and it is the best hidden gem ever! Enjoyed the best iced latte here, croque monsieur, glass of Prosecco and took off with a macaroon! The lady working at this place is probably the nicest person ever too!
My partner and I had the worst experience here the other day and was definitely one of the low points of our vacation. We simply went in to get a coffee and pastry and were met with the worst attitude from the woman working there. Before we even walked into the empty shop, the woman was sitting outside at one of the tables and asked if we were going in. We said yes, and she immediately barked at us asking what we wanted to order. Being our first time there, we hadn’t even seen the menu yet so we said we didn’t know. After going in and looking at what they had to offer, we asked a few questions about drinks and pastries and all we got back was very combative answers that were rude and condescending. After putting in our drink orders, my partner also wanted a veggie croissant which really set her off as she then went in to explain viciously “why didn’t you tell me that before, now I have to heat it up and you’ll have to wait.” I was so shocked by her behavior I just wanted to leave, but we just took out food and ate outside. My caramelized croissant was inedible and tasted stale and she burned his croissant to the point it was black. My iced latte was not good as well, I had to throw it out. Very unfortunate.
Lovely cafe tucked away from the hustle of the beach. Had 2 delicious sandwiches with my boyfriend, wish we would've saved room for dessert because it looked amazing!! Coffee and fresh orange juice were tasty as well. Had a great selection of wines and bubbles. Will have to come back to try more!
South Beach Atelier Monnier!!! yay! Love love love. I won't say much but just check the pictures I took lol. What not to like about this place!? Sitting outside under these majestic palm trees was the highlight as well, that breeze is unbelievable and the French mystic takes you on an unbelievable journey. Prices very reasonable. Quality? Simply the best. The Macarons, sorbet and ice cream, croissants and baguettes out of this world
