Scott Atkinson was admitted to practice in New Mexico in 1989; in Colorado in 1999; and in Texas in 2005. He is licensed in Colorado and Texas.
He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in 1985 and was accorded a J.D. in 1989. While attending University, Scott was a Case and Comment Editor for the “New Mexico Law Review” (1988-89). Scott worked for a large law firm in Albuquerque upon graduation before making the decision to go out on his own as a solo practitioner in 1995.
Scott is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, Colorado Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. He is rated by Martindale-Hubbell as “BV” which indicates high to very high legal ability and ethical standards, as expressed by confidential opinions from colleagues of the Bar.
