Same issues as every one. Over charge on copay and will not correct it. Even emailing them proof with my patient bill from the insurance showing them what I should pay for a copay and what they get paid. My insurance company has contacted both the billing department and their office and the billing department tells me to tell the doctor office they need to pay me back and only pay $20. I call and email the doctors office and they do not agree and just give me the run around about paying me back, saying they did not over charge me, after proving they did over charge. I've been with them for 5 years and this past year after the "split" has need unacceptable. Also to fill out FMLA paperwork was always $50.00. After they split the office they charged me $350.00 one year and last year charged me $150.00. Never have I had to pay so much for paperwork. Dr. Ahmed office
The worst. They arbitrarily make up pricing. They overcharge on copays and even when called by the insurance company refuses to refund the over payments. I have made no less than 50 calls to this office only to be told the only person that can issue the refund is the office manager that doesn't return calls. Even an email to Dr. AHMAD had gone unanswered. They have dropped the ball on submitting medical documentation in a timely fashion. I have only been a patient for 2 months. They have twice caused mye$500 in fees because because of istheir inability to adhere to timeliness. The neglience is baffling. Please check your insurance states. They are charging double copays and despite having a credit balance and nothing to apply it to, acknolwedging it is owed, they refuse to refund it. They have left me no choice but to take additional steps. It shouldn't be this hard ti get a refund. Avoid this office. All they care about is $$$$not the health and well being of the clients and insurance companies that pays them . AVOID this office at all costs!
Horrible!! You cant get through to anyone and the prompts are incorrect. The providers do not call you at the appointment time. Dr called me an hour and half after appointment time and never apologized. This is last visit for me. I am fed up. I would give negative stars if could
If you have any issues, I would highly recommend speaking to Maria V, she keeps this office afloat, and she winners way more than the office manager. She is empathetic, understanding, I suspect way undervalued and she keeps her word. Thank God this practice has her! Because without her, I doubt anything will get resolved.
My son was going to this doctor and as soon as he fell on hard times and was only able to pay 80% of his co-pay when he ran out of medicine they flat out refused treatment until he could cough up a hundred more dollars. It sent him into extreme withdrawal which landed him in the ER. They prescribed the medicine that you can’t miss a SINGLE dose of and then refused to send over the prescription. For the 2 years he had been going here he got nothing more than a video call confirming that they are sending the medicine. They do not help you at ALL please stay far away from these people.
I really don't like to complain especially since this practice has been very helpful in the past but my husband had a 4:30 appointment today. He received a call from the office at 4:10pm and paid for his upcoming visit. The visit is for paperwork. It is now 6:54pm and we understand emergencies but couldn't there have been a backup p.a? Or a email from somebody? A call to let us know the Dr. Had a emergency. If we don't get the paperwork files my husband can't get paid for short term disability. This is very sad.
Same issue as others with quality and quantity of office staff. Billing $261.17 for a 30-39 minute office appointment with an MD when in fact I spoke for 10 minutes to a nurse via duo appointment. Billing company cannot accept payments on behalf of Doctors office. Yet no one answers the phone at the doctors office so I can GIVE THEM MONEY. Doctor needs to PAY FOR MORE AND BETTER OFFICE STAFF AND SEE PATIENTS ON TIME. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. The money that psychiatrists make now to simply refill prescriptions without having to spend time with patients and do real therapy is an indication of both the healthcare system in this country and the highway robbery of the billing practices of psychiatry. Physicians who contract with insurance companies to be “in network” like this one have to eat some cost. But pediatricians seem to make even less money and still have decent office staff. This practice is by far the WORST for office staff and running on time of any I have encountered in my 47 years. The actual doctors and nurses might be great as far as this goes, I can only speak for the now split-off with her own practice Dr Rukhsana Ahmad - I like the doctor and nurses. But the office/desk staff and the ability to see patients on time are AWFUL.
This office is hectic and a little chaotic but it’s because they are helping everyone. Isma on the front desk is the kindest human, with the sweetest voice to greet you, but she is busy! Please be patient and give her grace. Dr Nisma Zbib is kind, patient, and so understanding. She worked hard help me feel comfortable, helped me find better therapy and recommended I start CBT/DBT which helped tremendously and helped me find meds that make me feel like myself. Dr Zbib May run late but that is due to giving every patient the time they deserve. Unfortunately, sometimes that means a few minutes extra. I highly recommend being patient and understanding and know that when your turn comes it’ll be just as valued.
I've been going here for about 6-7 months now and honestly this is one of the better offices I've gone to. I can book appointments relatively quickly, the staff have always been super kind and easy to work with, and they're able to always pull my information up extremely quickly. The only common complaint this place gets is that they're not always able to answer the phones, but this office *is* at Peachford Hospital and the call volume is probably extremely high from what I can guess. Ive always been able to reach someone around 10am or they return my calls.
This place needs to be evaluated by the Better Business Bureau. I waited in what was pretty much a dump for 2 hours! Who in their right mind makes a psychiatric patient with anxiety wait that long for a scheduled appointment? Dr. Ahmad did not evaluate me or do any kind of assessment, he just refilled the prescriptions and sent me on my way. I called back to ask if I could speak to the psychiatrist and was told that I would have to pay a co-pay to even ask a simple question about medicine that I would be taking. WHO DOES THAT??!!! Would never recommend and will not be coming back.
